The hotel is located right at the train station, and so is perfect if you are catching the AMTRAK. The rooms were pleasant and the staff were friendly. The bar is very trendy though was understaffed and so whilst we were there, it took ages to get served.

This is a really cool vibe hotel. Its unique decor makes it special. Our room is one with extra sitting space. Good view. BUT, the fan on the cooling heating is exceptionally loud! So loud I’m not sure my earplugs will be enough to block it out. It’s a shame because I like everything else so much.

Wonderful historic hotel. Very nice job restoring the old station building. Parking seems to be an issue as people get in trouble so we parked on the street in front which was free. Nice walkable neighborhood and great lobby bar. Only issue was that this is a Hilton and Hilton hotels often try to overcharge in my experience. front desk removed those charges and all was good. Just be aware and always check your bill with Hilton.

My wife and I stayed in Memphis for a short vacation and Central Station was perfect. We opted the upsized King Room and it was perfect.

I don’t normally rate hotels I don’t stay in but I’m going to make an exception for this one. We had breakfast over the road at the Arcade and decided to pop into the Central Station Hotel to look at the architecture. While we were admiring the lobby, a woman asked us if we wanted to see the sound room. We said yes, although I admit I was a little nervous about going to a small room with a complete stranger. Oh my God, I’m so glad we did. The sound room is a state of the art booth with $30k speakers and the most amazing sound quality I have ever heard (and I am no musician). After telling us about the room, the woman allowed us to stay and listen to soul music for as long as we wanted. I don’t know who this woman was - I assume she worked for the hotel - but the hotel should give her a raise immediately. She was an amazing ambassador for the hotel and also gave us an experience in Memphis we will never forget. If you are staying at this hotel, definitely ask to see the sound room. And if an elegant African American lady with a cane shows you around, please thank her for us!

This hotel is Memphis for sure in all the best ways! Great vibes and the staff were the best.
Two things:
1. You cant control the air past 65...i know it is low already...but it feels in the 100s and we like ut cold.
2. Since the fan to the ac doesnt run, you can hear the music of other rooms as you lay in bed...great bed by the way.

Overall it was a great stay - easy parking, walkable, and nice and helpful staff. Only negative being the restaurant/bar was supposed to open at 4 and weren’t even fully open at 5:15/not in a hurry to open either.
