I’ve been to Moxy hotels in 3 countries, and in Memphis the concept makes the most sense. The staff were friendly, inside and out, and the facilities were in good shape. I’d stay here again, and would recommend.

I would not return. The hotel and rooms were clean. It lacked an adequate blanket on the bed. Valet parking is $32. Do you like trains? If so, you are in luck because one will go by in the middle of the night with its horn blaring and wake you up. i didn't mind the "hipster' vibe. It is definitely different as I have never seen check in desk combined with a bar. If you get stuck with a handicap accessible room, be prepared for the shower to flood the floor. Also, they only make up your room every other day. This is completely unacceptable.

Moxy is very conveniently located a few blocks from Beale Street. It’s eclectically decorated with music paraphernalia. They have a bar and a range of snacks for purchase, although no breakfast other than coffee. There is a Starbucks a couple of blocks down, though. Room was a little small, but clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Has a great three night stay. The location is excellent. A short walk to the restaurants and clubs on Beale Street. Not very far to drive to the other sights in Memphis. The valet parking was quick and efficient. The area around the hotel does get a little quiet at night and there were some people kind of milling about. But the area is very well lit and we had no safety concerns. We got a corner room with a king bed. It was quiet, comfortable, and had ample space for the two of us. Having a separate shower and sink vanity made getting ready in the morning much easier. The lobby had a great vibe with free coffee in the morning and a bar at night. Oh- and let’s not forget the free pinball!! Staff were friendly and welcoming. If we ever return to Memphis we’ll definitely stay here! That being said, Marriott’s Moxy brand is not for everyone. It’s funky and eclectic with a very unique energy. We love it but not everyone does. So do your homework. If it’s not for you, there are other Marriott brands right across the street.

Stayed at the Moxy Downtown Memphis for a night, although we were booked in for 3. The hotel itself was clean, functional, and had all the basics we needed. Rooms were compact but well-designed, and the common areas had a fun, youthful energy. That said, the surrounding area left a bit to be desired – we didn’t always feel comfortable walking around after dark, which took away from the experience a bit. The hotel clearly caters to a younger crowd – think loud music, neon signs, and a bar that doubles as reception. If that’s your vibe, you’ll probably love it. As Gen Xers, we appreciated the efficiency but didn’t quite click with the overall style. Fine for a quick stay, but probably wouldn’t be our first choice next time.

I loved the bright colors and how good it smells when you walk in it was pretty clean as well. We also enjoyed how there was alot of places we could walk too.
