Suburban Studios Melbourne Airport

One night cost my daughter $336. My daughter was called away for Navy entrance exams and had to check out after one night. Not only is this hotel sub-standard, but they would not refund her for the 3 nights where she paid for and was unable to stay. More than likely, they rented those nights out to another person.

My wife and I are from Tampa but were catching a flight out of Melbourne, Florida. We are Choice Rewards members so we found a low price at the Suburban Studios Extended Stay just 2 minutes from the Airport. The Hotel is going through renovations, so we had a newly renovated room. 1️⃣ Employees were helpful with our needs. Originally booked to a room that wouldn’t lock so we got into another room with little disruption. 2️⃣ Wife’s back didn’t like the mattress but was okay for me. 3️⃣ Room was renovated and clean and bathroom was renovated and clean as well. Recommend.

It was a nice place to stay the nice. You can hear the TV through the wall. TV was small. They are working on remolding the place. It is clean and friendly staff.

I checked in late on 5/3. The first room was next to a noisy tenant. The second room, the bedroom and bathroom counters were full of small beige bugs, running all over. I took pictures and video. I checked out quickly and showed the pictures and video to the receptionist supervisor. Management refuses to refund my money for 5/3 and 5/8, which I didn’t stay either day. I’m due a full refund of both days, the hotel defaulted due to having bugs in the room which is a health violation.

They asked for a $100 deposit that would be refunded when you check out even though the rooms was paid in full. Never have I had this happen before. It certainly wasn't a fancy place. Didn't even have a place for you to get water. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable .

Adventure Awaits (NOT!!) Are you or your family members a fan of Cockroaches (big ones), intoxicated individuals very loud in the hallways, being locked out of your room due to old key mechanisms working randomly, sketchy/dirty exteriors, window locks made from packing tape and security deposits that take forever to get back? Well do I have a place for you to stay!!! This place upon arrival looks as though it was straight out of the walking dead season 9 (episode depicting the apartment building) or possibly a prison, the pictures depicted on their website are PURE LIES from what you’re getting. One thing they do have going for them for them is the amount of security cameras both inside/outside the motel that is streaming into the check-in area and must afford some entertainment value to the registration staff as they did not provide any security with all the drunk/loud individuals wandering through the halls all night (Never in my life have I seen so many cameras at a motel!) Don’t think you will get the surprise $100.00 per room security back in a timely manner (This is the one you were never told about when booking but expected to pay upon arrival). Please plan on waiting at least a week and it should go back in your account. Our two rooms, two-night stay turned into a one room 12 hour stay (Piled into one room and waited until it was light enough to leave the motel safely) due to the cockroach infestation and very loud intoxicated individuals roaming the halls all night (obviously the security cameras serve no purpose). If you get room 14 on the 1st floor look for the packing tape they used to try and secure the window shut as the lock was missing. P.s. the sign is broken apart (mostly missing so make sure you use your GPS)
