Super 8 by Wyndham Melbourne

Facilities: Rooms were comfortable with good bedding and included continental breakfast. The property had two entrances for convenience, and some guests noted the hotel’s efforts to upgrade facilities, though a few mentioned minor dated aspects.(based on 1 review)

My second trip to Melbourne since November 24 and the second time I've stayed here because I've liked it so much. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Pleasant to talk to and even gave directions to a beach that didn't charge for parking, but had a bathhouse, handicap parking and lifeguards- and it wasn't even crowded! Besides the office there is only one entrance that is locked 24 hours a day, accessible with the room keycard, which adds comfort in the security feeling about the place. Breakfast is pretty decent. Coffee, juice, 3 cereals, bagels, muffins, sandwiches, yogurt and fresh fruit. The room was a single with a queen bed. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and all the usual things you'd expect. In addition to the air conditioning, the room also has a dehumidifier- as did the room I stayed in back in November. I was told it really helps with keeping the air conditioners from running so much and keeping the rooms cooler and dryer. (It also helped dry my swimsuit and towel from my beach time- so I could pack dry things in my suitcase!) Very comfortable bed and pillows.

We had an excellent stay! The place is very clean; staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. It felt like a stay with family. I would highly recommend this Super 8 for your stay in Melbourne!
