Overall in this hotel was great. So far, this is the best hotel I have been in . Spacious room ,the service is perfect, breakfast was good and the view from balcony room is mesmerised . Recommended!!

The hotel facilities are new and well-maintained, and the overall environment is very pleasant. Breakfast is slightly pricey, and while the food quality is fine, the variety is somewhat limited. Still, the hotel is quite family-friendly and suitable for those traveling with children. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay

The table and wireless charger were dusty, toilet abit smelly. Hope to improve the front desk staff that do not serve the welcome drink, do not explain where the facilities are, no tell us the breakfast where and when to be served. Fortunately, their smiles are still on their faces👍🏻.

Avoid Hotel Birkin International if you expect true 5-star standards.
My stay was full of disappointments that clearly show this hotel is not worth the price. The lifts are painfully slow, often taking up to 10 minutes and stopping at every floor. Room service was just as inefficient, taking 40 minutes for simple requests, while basic amenities were poorly handled — half-empty body wash, only one toilet roll, and repeated requests (over five times) just to get bottled water. Even the bottles themselves were of such bad quality that many couldn’t be opened.
Breakfast was another letdown. There weren’t enough bowls and mugs, guests were split into a banquet hall to share tables with strangers, and the food was neither well-presented nor refilled on time. Service across the board was unprofessional. There is 1 night receptionist refused to help with a wine request, while QR customer service later resolved it, showing poor training. To make matters worse, I even found a cockroach on the balcony at night.
For a hotel that claims 5 stars, Birkin delivers far below expectations in service, facilities, and cleanliness. Until serious improvements are made, travelers are better off looking elsewhere for a true 5-star experience.

Luxury hotel tucked in a quiet area of Malacca with seafront views. 15 mins walk to the beach with small foodstalls around. Friendly and accommodating hotel staff. Overall a great experience.

Very nice and clean hotel. However, there were hiccups during check in. Check in time indicated is 3pm. We arrived at 4pm but was told that room not ready. Have to wait for 1 hour to get room allocation. So we brought the kids to the hotel’s playground and went back down to the reception 1 hour later only to be told to wait another 20minutes. After waiting for MORE THAN 20 minutes (with no staff at the reception at all) we went to enquire again. Was informed that we will be served next (after the current guest). So we waited again… in total, we waited about 2 hours just to get room keys. By then, our plans were all ruined due to the wait. We did not have time to explore Malacca Town as we have planned as it was a long weekend and we had to leave early the following day to avoid the traffic jam on the highway. All in all, the hotel is nice but the managing of the check in is terrible! 2 hours wasted just like that… if the reception staff informed us that it will take more than 2 hours to get the keys, perhaps we would not have waited at the hotel and proceed to town first. Hope to see improvement in this aspect
