Just back from a week-long stay at Coorg Wilderness Resort with my husband, and I genuinely didn’t want to leave. The place is pure magic — tucked in the hills with the kind of misty mountain views that make you stop and breathe a little deeper. We stayed in one of their beautiful rooms, and I have to say — the interiors are just stunning. Dark wood furniture, plush upholstery, vintage touches, and high ceilings made it feel like an old-world estate with all the comforts of luxury. My favorite ritual quickly became sipping their in-house coffee (grown right on their plantation!) on the balcony every morning, just watching the mountains disappear and reappear in the mist. Their nature and bird walks are surprisingly calming. I’m not usually a morning person, but I woke up early just to experience the forest trails and birdsong. Evenings were for unwinding with a glass of Paul John whiskey — which pairs surprisingly well with a second cup of their rich, aromatic coffee. A huge shoutout to the staff. Every single person we met was warm, responsive, and went out of their way to help without being overbearing. The buggy service was super quick every time we needed it, which really made getting around the hilly property easy. Two other things worth mentioning: 1. The food is excellent. Every meal felt like it was made with care — from traditional Coorgi dishes to more global options, it was consistently good. 2. The entire resort is impeccably maintained. The landscaping, walking paths, even the little sit-out spots across the property — all clean, inviting, and well thought out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxurious yet soul-soothing escape into nature. We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at this resort was truly memorable. The customer service was exceptional, especially thanks to Ashwati, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. The food was consistently delicious with a wide variety to choose from. On top of that, the resort is set in a beautiful location, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

My family had a fabulous stay at Coorg Wilderness Resort and I cannot recommend the place enough! The hospitality and charm of the property is unbeatable and worth every star the resort has garnered.  The staff went above and beyond ensuring every part of our stay and the experiences were perfect - special thanks to Sruthi, Anthony, Prasanna and Chef Gautam. Dining was definitely the highlight of our stay - loved the food at both restaurants: Habba and Vembanad. We got a perfect taste with a mix of continental, pan-indian and local Kodava foods which we thoroughly enjoyed. Even my toddler kids who are otherwise picky eaters ate so well here!  To add to the amazing dining experience, my husband and I also loved the guided estate tours, the farms, the plantations and most of all the spa - it was soooo relaxing! If you're looking for your next getaway combining luxury, heritage and nature - look no further than CWR. Can't wait to go back!
