Medellin Marriott Hotel

We recently stayed at the Medellín Marriott for a business trip and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the front desk associate spoke good English. We were pleasantly upgraded to a high floor with a beautiful view of both the city and surrounding mountains. Since we arrived late, we visited the M Club Lounge for a light snack, but were surprised to find a full Mexican-style dinner setup, which was more than enough for the evening. The Elite breakfast was offered in the main restaurant and had a nice variety to choose from. A special thank you to Andrés, the hotel manager, who was extremely helpful when we had a minor issue with our TV. The entire staff throughout our stay was consistently friendly, professional, and accommodating. We enjoyed most of our meals at The Market restaurant on-site, which offered plenty of options. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. We also chose to explore some local spots nearby and enjoyed that as well.

My wife and I have traveled extensively since retirement. We’ve stayed in dozens of fine hotels in the 20 or so countries we’ve visited. They have many common attributes like fine service, large rooms comfortable beds, plush robes and unique character. We were excited to stay at the 5 star Marriott in Medellin. My wife is a titanium elite member and typically is treated exceptionally well. We arrived at 7 pm and waited 13 minutes to start check in. The hotel has 4 dedicated floors for elite members. Although we contacted the hotel 5 days before arrival they did not find a room for us in the elite floors. The room was small with a small bathroom featuring an old fashioned tub shower combo. The staff was generally very nice but the overall experience did not live up to expectations. So if you are looking for a five star hotel in Medellin, keep looking

This hotel offers the best in location, cleanliness, and amenities. would advise anyone to stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were very happy to have chosen this hotel.
