Best Western Plus McPherson

When I arrived, there was a girl laying on the couch sprawled on top of who I assumed was either her husband or boyfriend. I mistakenly assumed this was a guest until she asked if I was checking in. I was shocked not only because of that but because she was in a t-shirt and yoga pants. It was not a great first impression as the attire was completely unprofessional. This impression was made worse when she mentioned she was the front office manager. It went further downhill from there. I was put in two different rooms, and they were both beyond dirty. Didn't want to step into the shower without flip-flops as the bottom was black. Shower doors had water spots/ soap scum all over. Microwave disgusting in first room and not clean in second either. All mirrors were streaked or not clean at all with fingerprints. Kurig in the second room had mold, which says how often it's cleaned. Hotel info was stuck to the table and left a ring on the table when picked up. The beds in both rooms were covered in hair. Seriously, I don't know how these rooms passed the inspection of the head housekeeper. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel was very conveniently located for our high school group. It is near many restaurants and a Walmart. The lobby is very spacious and inviting; however, a few of our rooms had a faint smell of smoke in them, even though it is supposed to be a 100% smoke-free hotel. The breakfast was good and we had an enjoyable stay overall.

Helpful and friendly staff

Confortable bed, bad internet The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. Complaints…. The internet was horrible. I never got on. I needed to do email on my laptop so not good. The inside of the hotel was very clean, but outside the north fence is packed full of trash

Our stay The room was very clean. In fact the whole place was clean. The beds were very comfortable and check in was very easy. The only real thing I can say I didn’t care for too much was the breakfast and it’s like all the breakfast in hotels, fake scrambled eggs were kind of cold. Didn’t care for the sausage taste and the bread was very hard. That’s pretty common for hotels. Overall, the place was excellent
