Property Description
Escape to an unique haven of warmth and comforts in this upscale, privately managed cabin. Nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma, this tranquil retreat offers an unparalleled experience with a breathtaking 1,800 square foot deck overlooking a serene creek and protected forest.
Guests love the coziness and warmth of this cabin and the expansive back deck for family gatherings. Many guests have enjoyed family celebrations, cooking special meals in the fully stocked kitchen, yoga retreats on the back deck, exploring the creek, the location for close proximity to the state park, Hochatown, area activities and restaurants.
Situated on Eagle Mountain, this cabin is reminiscent of a rustic log cabin, yet boasts of all the modern conveniences and luxury comforts for a carefree vacation getaway. As you step into the open-concept main floor, you'll be greeted by the inviting ambiance of majestic tree trunks. The main living area boasts a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace adorned with locally hand-carved bear heads, creating a rustic atmosphere. Throughout the cabin, the interior walls showcase “buggy pine wood” that give you those warm, cozy feelings of a mountain escape.
The deluxe kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped with everything needed for gourmet meals. Serving dishes and table linens complete your special occasion. Handcrafted cabinets line the kitchen area, while the granite island and bar area offer extra seating, complementing the nearby, large dining table.
In addition to the main gathering area, you'll find a 1/2 bathroom and a kennel under the stairs. Heading down the hallway, you'll discover a laundry area, then two King bedroom suites tucked away for privacy. Upstairs, two additional King bedroom suites, a charming loft game/TV area, and a custom-made bunk room by a local artisan with five full-size beds (one is a trundle) and a dedicated bathroom await. Each bathroom features granite countertops, double vessel vanities, walk-in showers, and unique stone work. There is also a soaker tub in one of the main floor king bathrooms.
Step outside onto the expansive two-level back deck, where you can unwind on comfortable lounge seating in front of the stone gas fireplace and make great conversations with family and friends or watch TV. Grill your favorite steaks at the outdoor kitchen, complete with a granite countertop prep area, grill, ice maker, sink, and beverage refrigerator. The lower deck features a hot tub, games, outdoor dining, and a cozy sitting area to watch the sunset or deer passing by.
Numerous seating areas inside and out ensure you'll find a perfect spot to relax or socialize. Sit around the firepit making gooey smores, laughing at childhood memories and enjoying new adventures. Take a stroll through the wooded area, sit by the creek and lose yourself in nature meditations. The kids will enjoy the large playset, ½ basketball court, mini cabin with wildlife viewing windows, and making creative adventures in the woods and creek area.
Conveniently located near restaurants, entertainment, wineries, Beavers Bend State Park and all that Hochatown offers, this cabin is your gateway to outdoor sports and activities. Broken Bow Lake, just minutes away, beckons with its crystal-clear water, boat rentals, water sports, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, and more.
