"This hotel is my favorite in Mazatlán for family trips; it’s a very pleasant place, the staff are super friendly, and it's a quiet spot to relax. The restaurant buffet is exquisite, and the Sunday brunches are delicious. There are two pools to enjoy and a beautiful view. They offer valet parking, which at 100 pesos, I found to be excellent value. Be aware that during peak season, there's high demand for the service, so they give you a WhatsApp number to request your car in advance. I think this is excellent as it allows you to plan your departure. My only complaint was that one of the valet staff asked for a tip. I always tip for good service, but I find it in poor taste when they ask for it. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The waiters at the Papagayo restaurant provided some of the best service. Something else I didn't like was that they didn't honor the room I paid for. Even though I arrived at 5 PM, I had paid for two ocean-view rooms, but they gave me two rooms at the back of the hotel. With children, I was very disappointed not to have the ocean view I paid for, and they told me there were no more available, even though they should have been reserved and paid for a month in advance. I'll definitely return, as these minor issues won't make me hate the hotel. I just hope they honor my reservation next time."
