"This comment is from a low-season week-long all-inclusive stay. Beautiful location, the crashing of the waves was amazing. We even saw Dolphins from the shore The staff was absolutely amazing, kind, hard workers, shout out to Pedro who attended to our needs at the pools. Also the lady who works omelets. The restaurants weren't mindblowing, but they were good. We had issues at Oceana, but Portofino, Meraki and El Patio were good. The buffets were alright, everything was in heaters so nothing was mind blowing. We were disappointed by no chocolate deserts. I had to send back a steak at Oceana that was simply impossible to eat (unchewable). Buffets were only available at breakfast most of the time which was a bit disapointing. Twice I had to wait over 30 minutes at the grill for lunch. The design of the hotel gives everyone an amazing ocean view, but also gives everyone loud music until 10PM (baby sleeping issue) The design of the hotel makes me wonder what we would have done if there had been a rainy day, but thankfully, there was none. Everything was clean, Room was clean, the slides were safe and fun. The lazy river is VERY lazy, you will not get anywhere by sitting, but it has a little cave that is really nice. The Gym wasn't available to us (renovations) The Café was supposed to be open at 7, it was maybe once. The sports bar was supposed to be open at 6, it wasn't when we needed it. The water show started 30 minutes late... schedules were a bit of a mess I would not have been disappointed had we paid less, but at the price point and reputation, we simply expected a bit more. More WOW! Less feelings of cheapness. I want to finish by saying my review points out a lot of mistakes and improvements, but we still had a great week, on a top notch site, with 5 star staff members! That being said, we will not be returning"
