I stayed in a sea view room with a great view from the window. The hotel is in a good location, with many attractions nearby and close to the beach. But you have to drive yourself, otherwise you can't go anywhere. The staff is very friendly, but sometimes they forget to clean. The hotel said that you can hang a do not disturb sign when you don't need to clean. But in fact, they won't come to clean unless you hang a please clean sign. In addition, although breakfast is included, it is only cold (Continental). Hot breakfast costs an additional 6 pounds per person per day.

This is a well run, friendly hotel with so many positive aspects to its operating in a challenging present day, economic environment. The morning buffet is probably one of the best I have experienced with home cooked food of the highest standards. Staff are polite, helpful and have a smile on their faces! The hotel management are to be complimented on their hotel with my desire to return next year!

We came to Bedruthan for my daughter birthday treat for a few hours and from the moment we arrived it was wonderful! We are local and live in Newquay and saw they were offering an underwater kids experience and afternoon tea for a fab price! My daughter loves anything ocean themed so we went for it. The underwater staff ‘oodles and squiggles’ were amazing! They made it magical for our daughter and were so friendly and welcoming. The experience was lovely! Really sweet and the room was absolutely breathtaking! So beautiful with all the lighting and jellyfish! We then went onto our afternoon tea in the wild cafe and had a sea view and the food came out and it was incredible! One of the best afternoon teas we have had! To our surprise, ‘oodles’ turned up to the restaurant with a birthday gift for our daughter! How incredibly kind! What a lovely lady! Our daughter was very lucky! Thank you so much to Oodles, Squiggles and the rest of the Bedruthan team. We can’t wait to visit for the Christmas experience. 10/10!!!

Lovely artsy vibe with amazing views over the sea. The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere very upbeat. Lots of families enjoying Easter holidays. The breakfast was delicious with loads of healthy options; homemade marmalade and pastries, in house bread etc.

Don't let the initial look of the hotel on the outside put you off, inside its got such a warm Scandinavian atmosphere. Good quality furniture and fittings, loads of room, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The spa is amazing and the garden experience was really relaxing. The food and drink menus are extensive, fairly priced and utterly delicious ! The in-house bakery is amazing. We got such a warm welcome from the staff and it was a very good price all in. Definitely be back!

This was our 3rd visit and once again we had a lovely time overall. The weather was very mixed making our wonderful 2nd floor room with fantastic sea views a real bonus to watch the sea whilst the winds churned it up in between sun patches! Comfy bed and nice toiletries (it would be nice to have lotion provided in the rooms though). Oddly there was a problem with biscuits not being put in the room by housekeeping although I was told the kitchen had made plenty of them. A very helpful gentleman on reception sorted out special delivery of biscuits to our room each day but it did seem rather strange that this problem could not be sorted. All staff were consistently helpful and friendly. Lovely choice of cocktails in the bar. We ate in Ogo every night and all the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We love the shared starters arrangement. However I am pescatarian and therefore needed adaptations made when one of the starters was meat based. On our previous visits this was always done with a fish/vegetarian equivalent different to those on the menu on any evening. This year my alternatives were made up of things served on other nights and felt a bit token. On the last evening one of the standard choices was slivers of marinated John Dory for us to share. My husband had a meat croquette whilst I was given a plate of 2 slivers of marinated sea bass just like the John Dory. A little pre planning and thought is needed really ...for instance the Wild Cafe does Spider Crab croquettes and Lemon and Herb Houmous -both would have been a suitable quick alternative for me rather than more marinated fish. Also on one night my husband was not given the planned meat item and had to share my vegetarian option instead! I had 3 treatments in the Spa and all were very good. Overall our stay was great and we are already planning our return next year.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, rooms are clean and well equipped and the sea view rooms are amazing, the pool and spa area is clean and again very well equipped, the main highlight of this hotel is the food, if you want a full Cornish breakfast pay the £6 as it is utterly amazing and well worth the money, we had dinner the the wild cafe, we had a sea view with the sun setting in the background and some amazing food and very reasonably priced, we had dinner bed and breakfast, we could choice from any starter, main and pudding all included in our price, all we paid for was the drinks. All in all an amazing hotel in a stunning location Would highly recommend.
