I stayed in a sea view room with a great view from the window. The hotel is in a good location, with many attractions nearby and close to the beach. But you have to drive yourself, otherwise you can't go anywhere. The staff is very friendly, but sometimes they forget to clean. The hotel said that you can hang a do not disturb sign when you don't need to clean. But in fact, they won't come to clean unless you hang a please clean sign. In addition, although breakfast is included, it is only cold (Continental). Hot breakfast costs an additional 6 pounds per person per day.

Had the best time at Bedruthan Hotel and Spa. Its a very special place and was the perfect location for my 50th. The views from the property and just incredible and our seaview room had the best view. Our meal and service at Ogo restaurant was 10/10. Thank you to all for making it so special.

We wanted a chill out couple of days and with the spa and hotel location and facilities that is 100% what we got. The food is lovely and the staff are all really focused on giving you that chill time with a friendly service.

We came to Bedruthan for my daughter birthday treat for a few hours and from the moment we arrived it was wonderful! We are local and live in Newquay and saw they were offering an underwater kids experience and afternoon tea for a fab price! My daughter loves anything ocean themed so we went for it. The underwater staff ‘oodles and squiggles’ were amazing! They made it magical for our daughter and were so friendly and welcoming. The experience was lovely! Really sweet and the room was absolutely breathtaking! So beautiful with all the lighting and jellyfish! We then went onto our afternoon tea in the wild cafe and had a sea view and the food came out and it was incredible! One of the best afternoon teas we have had! To our surprise, ‘oodles’ turned up to the restaurant with a birthday gift for our daughter! How incredibly kind! What a lovely lady! Our daughter was very lucky! Thank you so much to Oodles, Squiggles and the rest of the Bedruthan team. We can’t wait to visit for the Christmas experience. 10/10!!!

Lovely location but kids not supervised too many entitled families who have no respect for other guests. This spoilt our stay. Management please manage the spa facilities stop kids using the hot tub, and ask guests to respect others spaces.

Bedruthan was the best location for a solo break to relax and recharge in the spa or simply looking out to sea. It is also a great hotel for families and children.I visited during Boardmasters and was so impressed at the way the hotel embraced family members of guests coming to use the facilities. It had a lovely vibe

Worst place I have ever stayed
Without a doubt the very worst place I have ever had the misfortune of staying at.
This hotel is trying to be all things to all people and failing on every level. It wants to be family friendly and a place for adult escapes with a supposed tranquil relaxing environment. It doesn’t know what it wants to be and therefore ends up being a place which doesn’t cater well for anyone. When we stayed it was overrun with kids so was at times like being in a crèche rather than a tranquil escape!
The room itself was an incredibly expensive pastiche of a Premier Inn with a dreadful view of a horrible car park (nothing like the images on the website). The carpet is threadbare and stained, and the decor is tired throughout. Not at all providing anything remotely worth the price and making the location irrelevant as you never see it when you are in the room. The rooms are also noisy as there is no sound proofing. You can hear footsteps from above and conversations from next door! Plus we were woken before 7am by noisy deliveries outside.
The room was uncomfortably hot even though temperatures outside were unseasonably low.
They don’t service rooms at all during your stay and claim it’s for sustainability reasons when it is blatantly to cut costs.
Also throughout our stay, in every interaction with staff, we found them to be rude and condescending - we felt like the attitude wasn’t customer focused but treated us as if we were lucky to be there!

This place is so special
This Hotel is breathtaking from the moment we arrived it was just a wow factor. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was spacious wity everything you wpuld expected from a Hotel of this qaulity. The views from the tranquil area wrte to die for. The evening meal was so delicious and again the staff were professional and helpful. We used the pool and spa which was amazing. If i had to leave any negative comment which i dont want to is that hacining to pay for a cooked breakfast separately from the breakfast buffet.
