Booked the pirate room for my birthday son and he loved so much . Clean toilet, downtown many restaurants and supermarkets. no hesitated to recommend to anyone.

We were two families booked for 3 nights in the pirate rooms. The rooms directly overlooked the park and it was a short distance into the town. I would not recommend Gullivers to anyone with mobility issues; there are steep hills both in the park and to the accommodation. The rooms are big enough and good to have a sink, fridge and microwave. The picnic tables outside meant we could eat together. My children loved the themed rooms too. Some features in the room were a little tired and there was a weird smell in ours that didn’t disappear but in my relatives room all was fine. It was nice to have entertainment. My children really enjoyed this and the host, Lily and another man were patient and fun with them. The receptionists were really kind helping us with plates and cutlery to eat and it was really helpful to be able to use a washing machine as this was a stop on a multi stop holiday. I would recommend it as a fun place to stay.

We stayed in the pirate suit for 3 nights, and what can I say, the most amazing time away. My son is severely autistic and I was amazed at how lovely the staff were towards us. They went out of their way to make it very special and catered to my son’s needs. A special mention for Hannah the onsite manager, the most loveliest woman, she was so friendly and kind. And my son really warmed to her. Because of her, we will definitely be returning! The park itself was really good, there were little to no queues. It is pretty hilly but we didn’t mind! We also met gully which made my sons day. Thank you for making our stay better than we could have imagined. We will see you soon!

A lovely site, we are off peak so relatively quiet, however I can imagine in season it would be busier and livelier but suited our needs! We stayed in the wizard room, it had its own balcony, and on first appearance was pretty faultless! Great views and surroundings! A few minor improvements in relation to house keeping could be made, stains on the curtains, slight tear in the duvet cover at the seam, and a little more attention to the cleanliness of bathroom (cob webs). Upon check in was informed room had just been cleaned and was able to take room over 1 hr early and so the room hadn’t been left vacant but these I will say are minor and didn’t impact massively on our experience and wouldn’t be a reason not to return! Staff very friendly and the lady on reception Saturday night was extremely helpful when I was experiencing car issues and found me a bottle and filled it with water to assist with my car issues and providing info on local garages. Rooms are well sound proofed and even though in close proximity to the play park unless was on balcony no noise could be heard from other guests! It would be a ideal place to stay for families with younger children!

Lovely stay, great entertainment for the kids at night. Room was cosy, bed nice and comfortable. Could do with a few more tea bags as only 2 in the room.
