"Location of the hotel, rooms, room service and breakfast very good. The dinner (buffet) was acceptable. The first A la Carte booked was good, the second one was canceled the evening before (restaurant closed?). What was noticeable, however, was that most of the dishes and glasses/cups in the restaurant were not completely washed. In this respect, unfortunately, a point deduction."

"The hygiene was absolutely appaling, I understand that this is a *** hotel primarly for *** men to find each other and to chill and get together, but there was ***** stains on all of the sunloungers outside, the sauna and steam room had ***** all over the walls and smelled so dirty and clearly had not been cleaned at all. The sofa in our room and some of the walls had ***** stains, it just felt super gross. They charge you apparently for washing up liquid and I was given two single beds instead of a double which is what I ordered and they didn't seem to care, I had to chase to get an iron and ironing board even though I told them prior. Asides from that the location is great and the towels they give are fresh and are clean which is a plus I guess. Spoke to company for resolution and got offered a VIP package instead of any money back which isn't good as I likely won't stay there again."

"Fantastic choice! If you’re looking for a cool and calm atmosphere, this hotel is beautifully located and perfect for first time travelers. Although it’s a bit far from the main town, Maspalomas has its own charm, with many fun spots within walking distance. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, oh wow! The rooftop bar with the scenic views… I highly recommend hotel faro for tourists and first time visitors. Keep it up!"

"We spent 11 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are really friendly. Fabio, on reception booked us in and we could tell straight away that we were going to enjoy our stay. Our room was spacious and clean and our towels changed every day. The food was brilliant with plenty of choice and hot food was hot, not warm. Entertainment was great especially 3 guys called Revolution - fantastic. Vanessa did a great job with table service and was always really friendly. The pool area was well maintained with 2 pools, a jacuzzi and a pool bar. Best thing was you were given a ticket each on arrival to choose your sunbed and they were yours for your stay. There was a beautiful garden area with a gate leading to the beach. As well as the restaurant you could get freshly made pizzas, there's a coffee shop 'coffee club' and an alacarte restaurant. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday - we'll be back in the future."

"We have been here two weeks now and we have enjoyed the hotel immensely , staff are very friendly and helpful , cleaning personel are their everyday ,, breakfast was a bit of a unusual setup to begin with , one must fill out what you want in a form so it comes to the table ,,but there's plenty to choose from and you can take so much you want , love the pool and room we had was great , loved the sunsets , personel on the desk were great , the hotel caters mainly for Germans ,but I see that as a good standard mark As Arnie said "I'll be Back" Thanks from Seamus &Katri"

"Absolutely nothing to complain about, a magnificent hotel at the foot of the dunes, impeccable service both at check-in and in the restaurants. Just be sure to book the restaurants for half-board as they can fill up quickly. The gym and hammam are excellent. A peaceful hotel."

"Great place to stay. Excellent and friendly, helpful staff. You can order from their restaurant to your bungalow at no extra cost. Also give you an extra towel for your lounger at no extra cost, which you can change when you prefer. Housekeeping attends at your request instead of on certain days which I think is great because then you know when ythey will arrive. Again you can get fresh towels when you think you need a change. The bungalows are very clean, with everything you might need if you want to cook. 2 sun loungers outside your door so even if sunloungers around the pool were full no need to worry, you can have a swim and go to your own lounger. I like that they have a sign to say you can't reserve sunloungers, so no one putting down towels at 6am. It's nice and quiet, it's adults only. You can catch the bus from the roundabout in either direction, not a long walk to main Maspolamas areas. But taxis park outside all day, or reception will call one for you. I'm just back from there, so I didn't go at peak time. Would highly recommend, everything is excellent there, and nice to hear staff laughing and happy during their work days. Loren on reception and Jennifer in the restaurant very happy to meet them."
