The Microtel Mathews / Mason is below average. We've had much better Microtels at better conditions on our tour. But enough for sleeping.

Great value and location! When the front desk realized my good hubby was handicapped our room was changed. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. We would gladly stay here again and next time I would specifically ask for handicap accessible room. Front desk folk were excellent!

Everything about this place was 100% on point. The room was so clean and comfy. The clerk was amazingly friendly and professional.

I was very disappointed. The room was advertised to fit 5 people. The 5th spot was actually a window seat with a pad for a mattress. There was no bedding in the room for the window seat. This should simply not be listed as a bed. There were also only enough towels, cups, etc. for 4 even though we had 5 in our party. There were dead bugs in one of the drawers. Lastly, breakfast was very disappointing. Stale cereal and dry muffins are not what I would consider “breakfast”. Very disappointed in this hotel and will never be back.

"Micro" definitely describes this overnight stop! Bring air freshener! Room already smells like cigarette smoke so make certain to tell the desk clerk because at check-in you sign a paper about a $300 charge for smoking in the room. You of fridge was dirty. No stopper in sink & bring an extra blanket and pillow! At breakfast, the pump pot of hot water for oatmeal & tea was dirty and moldy looking! Good location is the best I can say!

1) Stains on the Carpet in our room 2) Stains on the comforter 3) Bathroom faucet was old and squeaky 4) Toilet was lopsided and not level on the floor 5) Tub did not drain well and caused standing water during a shower 6) Very limited breakfast options
