SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Mason

Pros: Newer property in great shape; friendly and accommodating staff; large and comfortable guest rooms; comprehensive free breakfast; close to Kings Island Cons: Guests hanging out in the lobby and at the outdoor fire pit can be heard noisily returning to their rooms into late hours Because of the effortless nature of my stay at this newer SpringHill Suites property, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. Between work requirements and a desire to spend time at Kings Island, the hotel's location was fantastic. Despite being adjacent to a highway off-ramp, I didn't hear any vehicle traffic from my room. Speaking of, my room was a nice place to spend time. The bed was up to Marriott's typical standards (very comfortable) and there was a separate sitting area perfect for unwinding and watching TV, complete with a spacious work desk. The air conditioning worked well without me having to hack into the system to remove things like restrictive temperature limits and motion sensors common to new properties these days- a huge plus. The free breakfast had a lot of options and all of the staff I encountered were wonderful. My only complaint is a minor one- because of the nature of the property that invites guests to hang out at the bar in the lobby and outdoor fire pit, some had a tendency to return to their rooms late in the evening in a not-so-quiet manner. This is no fault of the hotel, but guests sensitive to others yelling in the hallways, kids running up and down them, and the slamming of doors might want to request rooms at the far ends of the hallways to minimize these disruptions.

New, clean, and super comfortable—SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Mason is hands down the place to stay if you’re visiting Kings Island. It’s only a quick 5-minute drive to the park, and the free parking makes it super convenient. The hotel has great amenities, including a well-equipped gym, an indoor swimming pool, and EV chargers in the parking lot—huge bonus for electric vehicle drivers. The front desk team deserves a big shoutout—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. The entire property feels fresh and well-maintained. Heads up: this place books up fast, especially during peak season, so be sure to reserve well in advance. Can’t wait to stay here again for our next coaster trip!

Overpriced, not great service We stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Mason for 2 nights. We left early the first morning and returned to a room that had not been made up or cleaned. We checked to make sure that we had not left a sign on the door - we did not. When we went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels, tissues, and mentioned that our room had not been made up by housekeeping, we were barely acknowledged. For the price - $500+ taxes - this was a poor value.

Ginny works very hard to keep the Breakfast experience going smoothly each morning. She has a great eye for detail and ensures the guests get a great breakfast to start their day. She deserves a raise!

This is a nice and quiet hotel. It's hard to find a hotel with 1 room to fit a family of 5, and this hotel does it! 2 queen beds and pull out trundle bed. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and close to Kings Island. Breakfast was pretty good. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to KI!
