"A very friendly welcome. The room was small but extremely comfortable with a balcony with a stunning view. We got up to watch the sunrise! The staff offered to move us to a bigger room if we preferred but we loved it!! The Pousada is well placed to visit the castle and the bar area was spacious and comfortable also with great views. Breakfast was also good with a nice buffet."

"Tapada da Rabela is located on the edge of unimpressive Beirã next the abandoned railway line to Spain and close to the Beirã-Marvao railway station. Next to the station you find a new large office building paid by the EU. Since opening the building is empty, a good example of spoiling money. The B&B offers 6 rooms. Furnishings and decoration provide a modest, yet comfortable, atmosphere. Service is friendly. Our room had a good twin-bed, wardrobe & safe, desk & chair, TV & club-chair, airco, and a small bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower. The window can be opened but don’t have mosquito-screens. All was clean. An OK buffet breakfast is served: cold cuts & cheese, bread & rolls, cereals & fruit, yoghurt & juice, preserves, cake & croissants, tea & coffee. Tapada da Rabela is an adequate B&B, good for one night sleep."
