Baymont by Wyndham Marshfield

To say this was a terrible experience would be an understatement. This is a list of everything that made it unacceptable. I have pictures too if you’d like. - [ ] Shower dirty - [ ] Pool closed to public health violation since August 2024, never mentioned this on the phone so I didn’t know - [ ] mirror nasty hazed over - [ ] Shower curtain had dirt spots on it but even worse was brown and crusted hard at the bottom - [ ] Fridge smelled like beer - [ ] Tv did not work - [ ] Holes in dresser - [ ] No working bathroom fan - [ ] No control over heat/cooling and unit in room didn’t work (yes I checked to see if it was plugged in) - [ ] Only 2 towels in bathroom On top of all the icky I felt, when I went to book online, my total was 101.00 it wasn’t taking my card so had to call hotel. He said that must have been a promo (I was on the actual way dim baymont marshfield site because I double checked). They wouldn’t honor that price and charged me 165.00. My friends that called two minutes before me paid 110.00. I was hoping my dumpy room was a fluke. It the two other friends who stayed here had rooms that were just as bad. I really hope that you interview and hold this location to a higher standard because at this point there is no way I could get myself to stay at another baymont or Wyndham hotel any time soon until I’m assured you hold hotels from your chain accountable.

Pool was closed 👎….ok price but very basic, rooms were average , staffs not available, breakfast not recommended. Could improve cleanliness and replace broken phone and other devices in the room.

There was no one at the desk when I went to check in, and despite there being a message saying to dial “0” on the phone, when I did that, I got a busy signal. I had to wait quite a while before someone finally came to the desk. She was polite at least and apologized for my wait. I had “checked in” online through a link I’d received via text, through which I had provided all my information (name, address, auto information, credit card, etc.) However, I had to provide it all again. They also charged me at the hotel, even though I’d already paid on ******* (they did remove my charges the next day.) The pool was closed with a notice from the health department. However, having said that, the room was clean and comfortable.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and the pool was closed both times. The 'guaranteed in room coffee maker' was non-existent. Room was not clean.
