Where do I begin, My experience at Jaal was something I’d never expected. The service was good and the food was not so good but I guess you can’t have everything. I came down for breakfast one time and missed it by 5 minutes and then a lovely gentleman came running back saying he could serve me food as they were only “just closing”. As I walked back into the restaurant to grab a plate, a lovely girl by the name of Rania asked if I would like a plate for my “girlfriend” which was lovely to see as she was only looking out for her clients in the best way she could. I will say even though the gesture was nice I found humour in it as I was also single 😂😂, but nonetheless the thought of her asking was kind in itself. Ever since my Jaal experience I have been back to Morocco 3 more times as i think it being the perfect holiday destination for anyone to visit. Maybe an experience at Jaal was the one thing I needed to really change the course of my world view and how I challenge certain opportunities going forward. Nonetheless special mentions to Rania for being extremely, extremely kin d and attentive and honestly if it wasn’t for her I don’t think I’d be back 3 more times. She made me fall in love with this country more than I thought I could.

I would like to begin this review by extending my sincere gratitude to the guest services representative, whose name we unfortunately did not catch. You significantly enhanced our stay with a delightful surprise of a room decorated with flowers. Upon our arrival, guest services warmly welcomed us and provided a tour of the hotel, assisting us in making reservations for the à la carte dining options to celebrate our anniversary. I appreciated the daily check-ins from guest services throughout our stay, which demonstrated a caring attitude. The hotel itself is lovely and well-maintained. We were assigned a beautiful room 2134 overlooking the pool, and we experienced no issues with noise. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting, as it offers great value. The food at the poolside café was excellent, with a wide array of options including salads, burgers, pizzas, and desserts. We dined at both the Italian and Moroccan à la carte restaurants, with the Italian being our preferred choice. However, we did find the Moroccan restaurant lacking in portion sizes and experienced slow service, likely due to a limited number of waitstaff available for the entire venue. We had breakfast at the buffet, which was somewhat basic compared to other hotels we have visited; however, the omelettes were delightful. I would suggest considering the addition of a bean-to-cup coffee machine at breakfast, along with larger mugs, as I felt the coffee options were lacking. The evening bar provided a pleasant atmosphere to unwind and enjoy the live singer, who had an exceptional voice. The bar staff were consistently helpful, and we did not experience long wait times. Overall, the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We look forward to returning to Marrakech in the future
