The location is good for walking to tourist attractions! I liked that I could walk around late at night without worrying about anything and there were many local restaurants at the entrance to the accommodation, which was convenient!

We chose this Riad on the recommendation of our son who stayed two days in November 23, unfortunately our experience was disappointing on several levels: 1- No indication to arrive at the right address, not even on the door of the residence, we lost a lot of time finding the Riad knowing that we had our luggage and that we were in a state of extreme fatigue following a long journey. 2- When we arrived around 5 p.m. there was no one at reception. We had to wait a long time and call several times to find someone. 3- We were offered a room on the ground floor which could only be a converted storage room with a window opening onto a shared outdoor lounge, so no privacy. We were refused a change of room on the pretext that all the others were occupied, it took long discussions to be able to have another room on the first floor which was no better since its window overlooks the room opposite. 4- The cleanliness was not up to par, wet towels, clogged shower, cockroaches circulating in the bathroom and in the bedroom. 5- We asked for breakfast the day before because we were flying early the next day, we were given a tray with a few cups of honey cheese jam, a carton of juice already started, this meal led us to the airport pharmacy to buy an antidiarrheal!

We had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was! Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations. The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too! What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay. The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.

My family and I had a terrible experience with this Riad. First, I paid to stay at another Riad and was surprised that my reservations did not exist. Then I was transferred to this horrible place. I would say it was a fifth-rate room. The furniture was old, the shower had cold water, the bathroom was small and had no facilities, the towels were old and the bed linen was horrible! The breakfast was horrible. They served us dirty dishes and the food was honestly unhygienic. My son had a food poisoning. I have nothing positive to say, except for the strong smell of cats in the room. In addition to the terrible experience, they also wanted to charge me a 2.5 euro accommodation fee per night, per person! I respect people's opinions, but to say that this hotel is good, I'm sorry, because it's not about luxury, it's about providing the basics with care. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, EVEN FOR FREE!!!!

I sent some customers and this is their feedback. Very helpful managers but terrible hygiene and cleanliness. Cats running around everywhere even around the food, dirty towels that were promptly changed, poor and miserable breakfast. Riad not very welcoming and that did not make you want to return at the end of the day. Structure to avoid if you like cleanliness. Too bad because the managers are polite and helpful but there are many shortcomings.
