"The hotel itself was quite nice, and we definitely enjoyed the roof top pool area as well as the gym! Reception staff were lovely, however we did have a problem with the laundry amendments, where staff were not great at helping with! After using the laundry facilities they provided for additional cost our cloths came out with stains on them that we were not able to remove. We reported this twice and gave contact details but were never contacted. So we contacted the hotel ourselves where the manager asked for evidence so we sent photo of our stained cloths. He said there was no proof that this happened from there hotel, however I did offer to show hotel staff the physical cloths and stains when this had happened at the hotel but they insisted we did not need to. In addition to this they charge you a $100 fee when you arrive that they hold (we understand a lot of hotels do this and it’s no problem) however it took over a month for this to go back into my bank account, so be careful! Location is great, shopping centre around the corner, 50M swimming pool 15 minutes walk and great coffee shops too!"

"Below average for a 4 star stay. Off the bat, the sofa was damaged in the centre causing it to sink if any weight was put on it. The bed frame would also flex due to one of the wheels on the base of the bed completely broken off. The fridge was not working as well despite being set to the coldest setting, barely keeping anything cold. The iron was not working well and the iron sole plate was not clean causing it to stain/damage clothing Location is good as it's quite near Sunshine Plaza, and private secure parking is available."

"The staff member at check‑in was lovely, and parking was straightforward for us as we had a smaller car. The kitchen was dated, and the bathroom—particularly the shower/bath—was quite tired and in need of an update. Unfortunately, there was a significant amount of noise coming from the surrounding residential area, with kids and teenagers yelling and arguing until around 11 pm, which made it difficult to relax. For a one‑night stay, it did the job, but the overall experience was impacted by the noise and the condition of the facilities."

"The room was spacious, and there were several great coffee shops nearby. The service truly exceeded our expectations; the staff went out of their way to wait for us outside of regular working hours on a weekend. Due to a language barrier, they were very proactive in sending messages to ensure we understood everything correctly. Definitely worth staying here again."

"A good little find...spent 6 nights there whilst having some work done to our apartment. Fairly basic, but very clean and spacious, kitchen had everything needed for a short stay. Convenient spot, plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Brilliant cafe across the street 'Sunshine Social' great coffee and vibe. We would recommend this hotel."

"Was a bit tricky to get here from the airport and there is no 24 hour reception so you need to have an Aussie number so you can call for help to get in. Gorgeous views of the ocean. Close to cotton tree shops and restaurants."

"Stayed for two nights with our grandson. We stayed in room 37 on the 10th floor. The views were amazing of the coast. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Underground parking was included. Check in was very quick and easy. The staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again ☺️"

"Deceiving. Poor customer service. Room not clean, no A/C , old furniture. When booking no option given including or excluding air conditioning. When we enquired, reception mentioned it is a premium option and refused to change to another room with a/c even we were ok to pay extra. Unprofessional owner forced us to leave and charged us an extra night . Really terrible experience. I stayed in alot of places in Australia and overseas and never experienced poor customer service like this before."

"We have stayed at Aquavista in the past and have absolutely love it, but our recent trip was very disappointing. Our one bedroom unit had multiple faults (no aircon working in bedroom which we were not informed at booking, broken lock to the deck, leaking washing machine, dishwasher screen broken, frame around microwave came off, no cups etc.) The pool and spa were well kept and we enjoyed using the facilities. Unfortunately for the price we paid it was very disappointing! The units if being rented at a high price need to be maintained and security should be a priority."
