"Conveniently located, close to the marina and bus stop. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was at a cafe 5 minutes away. The food was good, especially the menemen (a choice of 5 dishes). The only drinks were tea; everything else was extra. The hotel was noisy, but it's central, with plenty of bars nearby, so that was expected. The water wasn't replenished; it was only refilled upon arrival. The bathroom wasn't very convenient, as the door opens inward, making it very cramped and only accessible with the door closed. The TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime, so you can watch movies."

"The Grand Aquarium delivered one of our best family holidays yet! Thanks to all the team for making our holiday a great one. The Grand Aquarium was fantastic but the entertainment team absolutely made it. The kids had the best time. We really hope to be back next year. We took private transfer from Dalaman in around 1h20 - comfortable and classy ride with a tv and WiFi for the whole Family. The Grand Aquarium apartments are modern, spacious enough for a family of 4, comfortable, clean with enough to self cater effectively. The pool was clean and fun for all ages, with a water slide on twice a day. The food and service was great too. Payment with room key was new on me, but worked well. Monzo works well virtually all places in Içmeler, fee free on purchases. The entertainment team were the highlight - there was never a dull moment, from well rehearsed evening entertainment and pool dances, to the fun competitions, to the smaller details such as regularly looping the pool and sunbeds to engage with guests, joking and laughing and brightening everyone’s day. The kids club was brilliant too, with the boys being able to go and join in fun activities through the day or evening, and building connections with the kids club team so quickly. Genuinely lovely team. The hotel has everything you could need - restaurant, gym, spa, hairdressers, jewellers, kids club, arcade, shop, football pitch etc. can’t fault it, especially for the value! The hotel is a 20min walk from the main strip in the town / 30-40min - 300tl for a cab of 60tl each on the dolmuş. I’ve personally been Içmeler plenty of times, and our holiday at the Grand Aquarium is one of the best. Perfect for families with young kids. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. "Arrived late in the evening very tired from a long day or travel, the guy on reception was helpful and helped me with my bags to my 1st floor room. First red flag was no information in the room or given at check in about times for breakfast, checkout or wifi. Upon searching for wifi showed a hotel conection. But needed a password not provided. The bed was comfy but was very confused my the layout,a bottom sheet, pillows,and a bed runner hid the one fairly thick and very scratchy blanket for the bed. Upon searching the cupboards found a second sratchy blanket and a bare duvet, as it was super warm did not want anything thick and certainly not scratchy. So decided to sleep under one of my thin microfibre towels. And fell asleep quicky from the long day, only to be woken in the middle of the night as air con had turned on and was now freezing, so retrieved bare duvet and ran back to bed to try and warm up. Upon waking in the morning found out breckfast between 8-10 and being pointed to the terrace which is so pretty. The breckfast was a platter of different things i mainly did not reconise, lots for fruit, honey, fried cheese and bread. But there was alot of wasps around attracted by the food. I decided to give up my honey and fruit they seemed mostly attracted to at the furthest end of the table which then the nice man misunderstood me and took away, which meant they reverted back to bothering me. But next to the breakfast table was the blue waters filled with fish who loved getting the crusts from the tables. I asked about the wifi and was logged in but did not work, which ment i did not have anyway to contact my cotravelers to arrange onward travel. But luckily my host realised the potential issue and knowing my destination managed to reach me though the hotel staff. "

"Our 50th Anniversary Hol:) Long transfere, we booked private 1, half the time:) HOTEL: Lovely reception on arrival. easy booking in and Bed. WHEELCHAIR USER: there appears to be ample ramps and access to all areas of the hotel. Lifts are a little on the small side but big enuf for a wheelchair. Looks like there are mobility scooters available (unless these were brought by guests themselves). Dedicarted area at beach and pool lift located at upper pool. ROOM: On the small side but sufficient for purpose. Everything u need. Has free safe Dep box. Bed is med firm. Usual freebies, T & coffee (NOT replenished daily, u have to do it yourself from Bars. Buy some milk from Hotel Mkt). 2 Btls of water (sml) everyday. Bathroom/shower is smallish but gr8 Power Shower, Hairdryer and Brilliant soap supplied in deispensers. BARS: NO BRANDY (We bought our own and put it behind Reception Bar, it was well looked after by Katrina). Staff are brill as are waitresses. Vast variety of drinks. POOLS: 2. Upper and Lower (the L is noisy pool, U is quiet). There are plenty of sunbeds at both and lots of shade/brollies if you want. U is near dining rooms & Restaurants. There is a Lift for Wheelchair Users in the Upper pool (Not sure about lower). L has bar and snack/ice cream). No Waiter(s) service. The water park is above hotel on mountainside, long steep road. get porter to drive up in gold buggies. RESTAURANTS: There re 2 areas, 1 is for cold meats, Olives, continental b/f, salads, breads & youghurts, fruit etc the other is hot meals, Eggs, beans, pancakes, stews, meats, doners, veggies, soup etc. There is a bar in beween... seating is plenty both in and outside. The Al A'Carte was NOT open during our time, opening on 01/07. IF YOU HAVE ALLERGY, LET RECEPTION KNOW ON ARRIVAL. AT MEAL TIMES SPEAK TO BURAK (daytime) or ISH (Evenings). They will liase with chefs and go through the meals/food on offer (1 by 1) and confirm if it is ok for you. i have garlic allergy and did not have any jip tummy etc for the duration. Waiter(s) will get you drinks at breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Be warned.... watch out for the various chillies each has its own scale of warmth:) LANDSCAPE: Plenty of shaded areas in the garden areas which are barrier between hotel and beach. Hotel is surrounded by Mountains. BEACH: Life Guard on duty. Sandy, Long, with plenty of Sunbeds and shade. There is a pier (with beds) to the left end and a brick jetty leading to boat, ski jet, banana hire shop to the right, there is also a tunnel which leads to open water NOT coned off. There is a dedicated Wheelchair user are which has wooden path to water and a wheelchair device to move persons. You can get to the village of Turunc by walkway from the beach. Its about a 10 min slow walk. TURUNC: variety of usual pubs/bars, tacky souvenier shops, real fake goods, barber (traditional - not the best i have had). Various Restaurants, check them ALL out and then BOOK if you want to go to one. See My r"

"I came with my daughter Amber just recently and stayed for 10 nights. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious with a small fridge, microwave and kettle. The maid comes daily to clean. The hotel is in a great location right in the city centre close to the beach with some nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The pool area is very popular with hotel guests. The pool is cleaned every day and gets sun all day long. Great music and wonderful cocktails with BOGOF. The food is also excellent. Special mention to : Onur, Osman, Mehmet, Ömer, sarı and Koko who make this hotel so entertaining. They’re always happy to help and give positive vibes to all their guests. We had a wonderful time and next time we’re in Marmaris we’ll definitely stay here again."

"Turunc dream hotel has Riverside restaurant. Riverside restaurant review not for the hotel above, we stopped somewhere else in Turunc. Went for a simple evening meal the night we arrived. Just what we needed. Also went for lunch later in the holiday. Service was adequate but slow, food was of a good standard. Relatively cheap for Turunc."

"I stayed in room 41 on the top floor. The hotel has no elevator. It's a two-room suite. One has a bedroom with a balcony, air conditioning, a small closet, and a dressing table. The second room has a kitchen (you can use a stove) with dishes (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, a cutting board) and a kettle, a sofa, a TV, a refrigerator (it doesn't turn off, it freezes well, and the water on the top shelf on the door froze), but there is no air conditioning. There is a fan and a huge terrace. It's austere, no pictures on the walls, no wallpaper. I peeked into the next room; it had a kitchenette in a small alcove in the hallway and a TV in the bedroom. It was cozier. The shower is in the toilet behind a curtain. They cleaned well, washed the floors and changed the towels every time. The included breakfast is the same: boiled eggs, two types of cheese, cold meats, olives, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, instant coffee (brewed coffee is available for an extra fee), and tea. Honey, jam, and a bun are also included. Other options are available for an extra fee. The location is excellent, with the beach a three-minute walk away. My room faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. The owner is very friendly, as is the entire staff. There's a small pool with sun loungers. A good budget option."

"Stayed here for a week as a family of 5 in July 2023. The apartment was basic but it was enough. The rooms were cleaned daily, fresh bedding & towels - the maids were amazing. The pool was a great size and the slide was a great added bonus. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. You do have to pay £50 per week for air con - totally worth it!! Cooled the rooms down very well. The location of the place is what sold it for us so close to everything. Would definitely book again."

"Best quality/price ratio in the area. Amenities are limited (small pool, small spa) and the beach is not the best but for a 4 star hotel everything else including staff is amazing. Spotless clean, modern rooms. The safe is in the room not included (3 eur per day) in “all inclusive” which kind of ridiculous. U can simply charge a bit more for the rooms and make it all included. Recommendation for the hotel: “please buy proper filter coffee, espresso machines, people are happy to pay extra for those”."
