"Overall, it's good. The only drawback is that there is no sofa in the room, only a single chair and no place to sit. 15 minutes from central Monterey, a great way to save money in Monterey."

"The hotel is located about six miles from the action. It’s not a long drive to Monterey or Carmel, just know that it’s also not just 5 minutes away. Our room was clean and everything was as advertised. We could even see the ocean from our window. There was a sofa in the room, big enough to seat four of us. This was a main reason I chose this hotel, to have a place to sit comfortably after exploring the area. My husband and kids used the gym and indoor pool, which were small but adequate. Right down the street is Target, Trader Joe’s, SB, and some restaurants. For the good restaurants, you’d have to drive the six miles to town. Our biggest complaint about the hotel is the breakfast. The options are rather limited. We opted to eat breakfast elsewhere after two days. Overall not a bad stay but we probably wouldn’t stay here again."

"It's been renovated, and overall it's not bad."

"It's a newly renovated motel...the price is relatively low. The room has wooden floors, the sink is new, everything is decent. The bathroom light flickers constantly after being turned on, and suddenly turns off for a few seconds halfway through a shower. The water pressure is okay, but the water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold. There was some dust and hair on the wooden floor."
