"Honestly, this place felt more like an apartment block than a hotel once we stepped inside. If you're thinking about booking it just for the price difference to stay in Barcelona, be careful—commuting daily can get really tiring. The trains stop around 11 PM and aren't always reliable. We once waited 2 hours just for a 15-minute ride to Blanes, which was super frustrating. The walls are thin, so if you have noisy or snoring neighbors, it'll definitely annoy you at night. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest either, which was disappointing. Staff-wise, I only felt welcomed by the blonde lady at reception. The others were blunt and dry. One big issue: the phone in our room didn't work, so we went down to ask for an iron. They took a few hours to bring it over—by then we were already bored and had left. Also, one night we were super thirsty and the guy at reception charged us 6 euros for two small bottles of water at midnight. If I'd seen the price before paying, I'd have just ordered from Uber. What even? Late at night, the only open restaurant nearby is McDonald's, which adds to the inconvenience. Overall, not worth the hassle unless you're okay with all these downsides."

"Stayed for one night, the best hotel! If you have a Chance definitely stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The decor is beautiful, let alone the pool! We got breakfast and let me say they have everything you can think of. There’s an adults only pool which our balcony overlooked. Amazing views! However, this pool did smell like sewage. So we spent our time in the bigger pool, which was quieter and way more spacious! Be prepared the wait reception, long lines. But we didn’t mind as the views were amazing to look at! Ps we stayed at the 4 star part of this hotel. Thank you for the best stay!!!"

"Although the decor in the rooms is old, the hotel is a nice place to stay, quiet, good sleep, and comfy rooms. The staff are very kind, and they care about customers. The food is also good, and attention to detail. The rooms are spotless. Unfortunately, I was supposed to go with my husband, but he could not come. I felt very comfortable at dinner and breakfast talking to a young man who works afternoons and evenings and with the owner during breakfast. I used a smart box (gift box). It would have been cheaper to book directly with the hotel, so do not use any website, but the hotel. The beach is very close. It is also very close to the station, which will take you to Barcelona (Renfe). There are shops, bars, etc. nearby. However, the information regarding the room I booked was sea views, which is true, but on one side of the balcony. The balcony does not face the beach. If you turn to the right -facing the balcony- you will see the sea. The balcony is quite small, so I would not advertise it as that. There is barely space to sit. In addition, the shower is difficult to access since the door bumps the sink. It is dangerous when coming out of the shower because you need to go sideways, which could make somebody lose balance. For overweight people, it would be impossible to enter the shower precisely because the door does not open fully, i.e., it is blocked by the sink. It was a great experience, and I rest."

"Eight of us stayed for 5 nights because we were in the area for a wedding. Due to arriving from different countries we had pre arrival contact with the hotel and checked out at different times. From the initial contact to the final check out the whole experience was a pleasure. Hotel is clean, comfortable and well located for the town, the beach and the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful making the hotel feel very welcoming (I had to leave early in the morning to help with wedding preparations and the staff made me a packed breakfast to go). We all availed of the spa and it was highest quality also. If I am ever returning to this area I will not hesitate to return to SaVoga or reccomend it to any of my friends."

The one fault I could find in this hotel was it is *******, theres a ghost that kept going round knocking on people's rooms in the middle of the night and taking people's food when they're not looking, legend has it this apparition is called Lee. "The location is great for Calella town. The hotel public areas are much nicer than the rooms which are shabby, with small balconies and mouldy bathrooms. Beds are comfy though and great housekeeping service. Staff are good and the food is excellent. The major disappointment for us was the rooftop area with jacuzzi was a key reason for us choosing this hotel as we knew the pool would be too cold in April and we were travelling with our two adult daughters. A pic of the jacuzzi was used on our booking page and every website I looked at mentioned it. Turns out it's closed until Summer!"
