The building entrance has a grand forye that was nice and loved the pool area nice grounds over all was nice for the off season

The other reviews were correct, the facility is dated, mostly clean with beautiful views, and a bit remote. The lake views from the golf course are incredible. We had an unpleasant experience checking in after an 8 hr drive. The room wasn’t ready, and nothing was offered as an alternate plan. After we asked questions about unloading our heat sensitive items to store inside, another clerk figured out it was ready. ‘My Bad,’was the response. We picked up food on the way in, so didn’t use the restaurant for dinner…but there was no microwave for heating it up. A refrigerator was available. Our bar experience was ok. My wine was hot but I asked for ice. We had seen a breakfast menu on the website, however on Saturday morning when we arrived for breakfast, there was a limited item small buffet and no menu service.

Golf course exceeded expectations and the staff was very friendly. The access to the course from the hotel also makes it very convenient. Absolutely will be going back, and it is worth the $100 green fee. As long as they keep the course in this shape, it is worth the trip to play.

Beautiful property and wonderful service! The rooms are dated - know that going in - but the views, service and relaxation make up for that. The bar and restaurant were staffed with wonderful people who bent over backwards to serve. Prices were so reasonable! We had a great weekend!

The hotel and golf are fine however I would not recommend the restaurant. The white staff was very unprofessional and there is nowhere else to eat within an hour of the resort.

Should be a 1.5, maybe 2 star hotel at best. Bugs in room (3 inch roach), wifi sucks, black mold in room (different trip), hot water if your lucky.

My wife and I went the resort a week or so ago and yes, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff were for the most part helpful. However. we had no hot water for our entire stay except last morning after reporting it each day and given some ridiculous info about it did not set well. The steam/sauna had no instructions, and the hot tub had no jets. Maintenance at this resort leaves a lot to be desired is this is going to be a called a resort.

The room had a strong musty mildew odor that made it difficult for my asthma especially at night. The smell was all over our clothes by the time we checked out. The carpet needs to be removed from the rooms and be better ventilated. I didn’t complain because I knew the resort was booked full. The indoor pool was dirty, cob webs everywhere from under the tables and chairs to all over the ceiling. Both sides of the pool had bugs all over. Walking trails on the grounds were not clearly marked and need to be better tended to, trash all in the woods. The breakfast was good but for the price of $12 per person it should have been better with pancakes and a waffle maker. The waitress at breakfast was awesome though I didn’t catch her name.
