The building entrance has a grand forye that was nice and loved the pool area nice grounds over all was nice for the off season

There is so much to report about the stay at Cypress Bend resort. First off Wyndham should not be associated with this hotel and secondly, it should not be called a resort. This is one of the worst experiences in one of the nastiest hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. It was my birthday weekend and we intended to stay for two nights with possibly extending it to three, however we were in and out of the hotel in less than 12 hours because it was disgusting. Not to mention the absolute horrible service we’ve received in the restaurant. The hotel restaurant was shut down for the night and the bar could not take hotel guest orders because they’re apparently was a large party that was being hosted at the hotel the same night. So we waited for over an hour for food that never came. We finally ended up back in our hotel room, eating peanuts, and apples that I brought for home. Not to mention the service from the bartender was unbelievably rude

We love this location and Mrs.Barbra, who works the bar and restaurant side. The place has beautiful landscaping, and the view is beautiful .

One bedroom king suite was perfect for our 30 year anniversary. There is plenty to do and explore in the area and the food was good, especially the chicken quesadilla. The check in was great and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The other reviews were correct, the facility is dated, mostly clean with beautiful views, and a bit remote. The lake views from the golf course are incredible. We had an unpleasant experience checking in after an 8 hr drive. The room wasn’t ready, and nothing was offered as an alternate plan. After we asked questions about unloading our heat sensitive items to store inside, another clerk figured out it was ready. ‘My Bad,’was the response. We picked up food on the way in, so didn’t use the restaurant for dinner…but there was no microwave for heating it up. A refrigerator was available. Our bar experience was ok. My wine was hot but I asked for ice. We had seen a breakfast menu on the website, however on Saturday morning when we arrived for breakfast, there was a limited item small buffet and no menu service.

Golf course exceeded expectations and the staff was very friendly. The access to the course from the hotel also makes it very convenient. Absolutely will be going back, and it is worth the $100 green fee. As long as they keep the course in this shape, it is worth the trip to play.

Beautiful property and wonderful service! The rooms are dated - know that going in - but the views, service and relaxation make up for that. The bar and restaurant were staffed with wonderful people who bent over backwards to serve. Prices were so reasonable! We had a great weekend!

The hotel and golf are fine however I would not recommend the restaurant. The white staff was very unprofessional and there is nowhere else to eat within an hour of the resort.
