Don’t let the street approach give you a bad first impression, nothing beautiful or eye catching about the outside of the building (except the large modern door!). Not sure about parking as we arrived by Taxi but the staff is friendly and helpful so I would contact them for suggestions. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Italy or Switzerland. Large variety and attentive staff. Excellent experience."

"Hotel right in front of the train station. It is basically a combination of different structures, from the hotel to the bed and breakfast, to the charming old structure. Really quiet place and the quality of sleep is excellent. Rooms not large but functional. Clean bathroom with shower. Possibility with extra charge to have breakfast in the hotel or to use a coffee bar that is next to the hotel. Very good girl at the reception who in addition to quickly carrying out the check in, accompanies the visitor to the room and effectively explains how to independently enter the structure from the entrance on the avenue or information about the city."

"My wife and I stayed here over the weekend of May 30th and 31st. We booked this hotel randomly, primarily considering its value for money, and fortunately, our stay exceeded our expectations. The hotel is new, spacious, functional down to the last detail, and spotlessly clean. The entire staff was extremely welcoming, and since we also dined at the on-site restaurant, we'd especially like to thank Riccardo (the head waiter), who was very kind, professional, and attentive, even to detail, and Vincenzo, the chef. Dinner was delightful, and the food was high-quality and excellent! I'll conclude my review by absolutely recommending this hotel for any stay in Mantua, whether for business or pleasure."

"Let's start with the qualities: friendly staff, strategic location, and cleanliness. Then, the downsides: the B&B is located in a small courtyard, crowded with cars and bicycles, and the walls dividing the rooms are just a few centimeters thick, making any sound a nuisance. Finally, it may sound strange, but breakfast is an extra. We're talking a few euros, so it's fine (there's an excellent pastry shop nearby, by the way!), but I've never seen a B&B without breakfast."

"Worst hotel-experience ever This stay started out strong, beautiful interior, friendly staff, lovely rooms, etc. But one incident has completely ruined this entire stay for me and my family. We (the 5 of us) were going to take the elevator down from the 3rd floor. However, once we get to the 1st floor, the elevator gets stuck. We call for help on the intercom and seem to get through, but they only spoke Italian to us, so we had no idea what was happening. This tiny elevator barely fit the 5 of us, and it was a glass elevator mounted on the outside of the hotel, so even before getting stuck the elevator was very warm. It did not take long for the elevator to become so hot, sweat was dripping from all of us in streams. We called the intercom multiple times and tried the phone of the hotel and nothing was really well communicated. Before long, the temperature is at least 50 degrees C, rising gradually. The staff probably had a procedure, however nothing worked, and the fire department finally arrived after around 55 minutes inside this elevator, which is frankly way too late. Finally, over an hour passed, and we got out. I don't blame the staff, they seemed really upset as well and stressed about the situation. I blame the hotel, and management, as they should have a procedure saying if nothing has been done for around 15 min max, then call emergency services. We got water when we got out, but we have not gotten any compensation or even apology from management or the owners. If you value your safety, use the stairs or find another hotel."
