Great hotel. Friendly service. Close to the heart of it all. Loved the porch. Could see the Manitou Incline feom it. Large spacious rooms. Submerged the history. Only gave it 4 stars because the food in both the main dining room and the tavern. It was not up to par with the rest of the hotel. I would still return

The room was excellent. Service was great. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Location was walking distance. Valet parking was a little expensive.

Six family members went to celebrate each other's birthday, specifically a 60th milestone birthday. The ambiance, food and waiter were superb! Great choice and we will be back again. Thank you for the attention to detail and pleasant atmosphere for our special dinner.

The two stars are for the SUPER friendly staff and the location which was fantastic. But…that’s truly what you’re paying for because it isn’t for nice accommodations. The staff was the highlight, they were kind and efficient. We stayed 3 nights at almost $1k and I truly can’t believe the cost of a place that’s quite literally falling apart. Just walking up to the hotel you can spot wood rot all over the eves, railings, etc…our room wasn’t much better. The curtains in the room were completely ripped up, the lamp shade was ripped up, the tub need to be re-caulked, there was a big stain in the hall on the carpet etc…I understand the appeal of the historic inn and the location, but I don’t think it justifies the price for what you’re actually getting. I have stayed in a lot of similar aged properties and none have given me this sense of disrepair.

Such historic charm in the lovely Cliff House Hotel in Manitou Springs! We visited last fall to climb the incline, but we returned to relax and enjoy the tranquil ambiance of both the hotel and the city. The staff were welcoming and helpful at check-in, as I needed to change rooms to be more comfortable. All of the little things the room staff do to make our stay special were very much appreciated. It rained a lot during our stay, but we found indoor activities in the area, Cave of the Winds, movies, and an escape room, as well as dining in the Cliff House Restaurant, room service, and playing cards in the inviting and comfortable lobby sitting area. It was a perfect 3-night stay, and I am convinced we will return!
