Manitou Springs Resort

Piyar at the waters edge restaurant was amazing. He served our family and entertained the kids with magic tricks. They can not wait to come back again to see him. The food was incredible. Great experience, incredible service from everyone and the mineral spa and beach are so relaxing.

I was struggling with whether or not I should share my recent experiences with Manitou Springs, and decided that for the safety and well being of future guests, that I absolutely had to. On the first night of my stay, a gentleman on my floor went into cardiac arrest and I had to perform CPR on him until the ambulance arrived. At no time did any staff member offer assistance, bring me one of the multiple AEDs on site, or come to the room to comfort his wife- they left all of the emergency response to other guests. When I checked out, I raised my concerns to the manager, who tried to lie and say her staff were assisting. I was there well into the time paramedics entered the room and there was never a staff member with us. The only response from management was that they'd try to train their night staff better. My stay was ruined and they didn't even offer to discount the room- not even a free meal to thank me or the other guests for intervening when they failed. Now I'll likely have to pay double what the room cost to deal with the trauma of administering CPR on a dying man. If you or a loved one have cardiac issues, or you expect staff to respond to an emergency, consider staying elsewhere.

Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Pool was sooo healing and relaxing. Also the hotels restaurant had great food and, Hardeep, our waitress was the best. Soo sweet and accommodating, went the extra mile to please. Will definately be going back.

Very nice hotel, clean spacious rooms. Perfect restaurant which offers excellent food. Hardeep, the waitress at the hotel restaurant, was awesome. She was very pleasant, friendly, helpful and very courteous. It was a wonderful overall experience

Ate at the restaurant today, both my wife and I had fish and chips. The fries were exceptional and the fish was good, but honestly the young lady who waited on our table was great! Polite, attentive, and a good salesperson. We would highly recommend.
