Quality Inn & Suites

I’ll admit, I was unsure about this hotel at first since the décor appeared a bit dated—but wow, was I pleasantly surprised. During our trip through the Upper Peninsula, this was hands down the best hotel we stayed in. The room was extremely clean and well-maintained, and the water pressure was excellent, which isn’t always the case when traveling. But what really made this stay stand out was the exceptional customer service. Every team member we interacted with during our short stay was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care. You can tell this property has a dedicated general manager and an outstanding team behind the scenes. Interestingly, we stayed at another hotel of the same brand in a different city that was recently remodeled, but the experience didn’t come close to this one. Just goes to show—you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Keep up the amazing work! I would absolutely recommend this property and stay here again without hesitation.

Really nice room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice comforter. great location, in a really nice friendly town! i arrived very early trying to beat the weather, even though the night before they were very busy, they allowed me to check in early! Nice clean comfortable place to stay!

Great customer service. The hotel was older but clean and the staff was amazing. Everyone was beyond nice to us, and extremely helpful.

The hotel was nice & clean. The coffee pot didn’t work in our room however, there was hot coffee downstairs. Also, the continental breakfast surprised me that they had, everything was fresh & hot. Overall- I would stay again.

Scott at the front desk greeted me by my first name and went above and beyond to help! The entire hotel was clean, quiet and great breakfast along with popcorn and cookies, tea and cookies during the day and night. Best value and best service!
