"For Africa this is a good hotel, but if you evaluate it by European standards, then it is 3 stars, even with a minus. The hotel is undergoing reconstruction. The rooms are not very clean, the furniture is old, the bathroom has problems, the pool is small. But the most important thing is that there is hot water and electricity. Also there was a delicious breakfast."

"I visited Sunbird Nkopola today and ordered a steak at 4 PM. Two hours later, I still hadn’t received my food. I was told at one point that the steak was overcooked and would be redone, then told it would be ready in seven minutes, yet nothing arrived. Everyone else at my table had already finished eating. The staff were polite, but the service was extremely slow and disappointing for an establishment like Sunbird. I hope management looks into this and improves communication and kitchen efficiency."
