The room has a stunning view. Our 12D villa's living room has a 270-degree glass view, which will make you stay on the sofa and don't want to move. The most worthwhile thing to try is the spa. The three technicians all have good skills. I had it three times during my 5-day stay. It is very cost-effective. The restaurant's food is also very good, but the selection of dishes is a bit limited. But maybe the room is too big, so cleaning it is a bit stressful, not hygienic enough, and the floor is not safe to walk on barefoot. Moreover, it is located in a remote location on the mountain, and it is not very convenient to go anywhere. There are a lot of charcoal bugs on the mountain, which is unavoidable, but it may not be suitable for ladies who are afraid of insects, because they can really get into every hole.

This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.
The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low.
Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.
The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb.
And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

We enjoyed a variety of massages, facial treatment and a body scrub. It was incredibly relaxing, and the views were absolutely stunning.

Beautiful place to stay and enjoy time out. Transport to villas and beach were very quickly arranged by the resort. Not near any shops and 20 mins to the beach by car, but restaurant very nice and the villas have pools.

I stayed few days at Selong Selo resort and had a deep tissue massage at Senja with Aminah. She was great and I really enjoyed the experience. All the staff is very attentive and the location has an incredible view and atmosphere.
