Gorgeous hotel. The facilities were beautiful. The room service incredible. The restaurant- a highlight. Great service. The kids club was very nice. Flexible, friendly, nice disco every night. Quite inclusive for all languages even if they mainly spoke German and English. The night program was amazing acrobatics, ice skating, circus show, music. Only downside is that the pools were a bit cold for end of October. The beach is not great for children because the water is quite deep with stones on the bottom and there were some waves.

I stayed at Paloma Orenda for a week and wanted to leave a completely honest review as someone who has been to many 5-star resorts. Unfortunately, this hotel is not 5-star quality — more like a 3 star at best. The Room The first room we were given was a ground floor terrace, not the balcony room we had specifically booked and paid extra for. It also had a damp smell, although to their credit, the hotel did move us the following day. The beds are extremely firm (actually uncomfortable to sleep on your side) and the pillows are very poor quality. Towels were thin, and there were no robes in the room until we requested them. The bathroom is basic, nothing luxurious — more in line with a 3-star property. The room itself is quite small too. On the positive side, housekeeping was excellent — the room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the staff were always friendly and polite. Bars & Drinks The cocktails were inconsistent — depending on who made them, they tasted completely different. Staff clearly need proper training and recipes to follow. Everything was made with cheap, sugary syrups — nothing “artisan” about them. The beach bar was swarmed with wasps daily, which made it unpleasant to sit there. The pool bar staff generally looked unhappy and at times muttered under their breath, which felt rude. Also, there is no beach service unless you pay €90 for a cabana, which feels ridiculous for an “ultra all-inclusive” resort. Grounds & Facilities The grounds are lovely, with well-kept gardens, trees, and flowers — this was one of the few highlights. The beach area is nice, but the sun loungers and tables are covered in black mould and uncomfortable — they really need a deep clean or upgrade. Food Simply put — awful. The Wabi Sabi restaurant was one of the worst hotel meals I’ve ever had. The food was barely warm, tasteless, and poorly presented. My “sizzling” beef came out lukewarm, mostly peppers with a few scraps of meat. The beach restaurant was also terrible — bland, basic food. The only decent meal we had was at Curio, which is not included and requires an extra charge. The steak was cooked perfectly, but the sides tasted cheap (mash like it came from a packet, microwaved sauces). I also felt unwell with a stomach bug after dining here — possibly coincidence, but worth noting. To make matters worse, the house wine was watered down. The first glass was fine, but when the bottle came back it was clearly diluted. To his credit, Sami, the manager, noticed, agreed it didn’t look right, and replaced it immediately — he was honestly the best staff member we encountered all week. The buffet is average at best — repetitive, lukewarm, and mostly flavourless. We ended up eating outside the hotel several times. Service Generally disappointing. Most barmen looked miserable, reception staff rarely smiled, and when checking out, no one offered to help with luggage — we had to ask for the bellboy ourselves. Again, this is not 5-star service. Our stay at Paloma Orenda hotel left us with the best impressions! The staff is very friendly, always ready to help and make sure the holidays are as pleasant as possible. The service is top-notch – from check-in to the very last day we felt truly welcome. What really stands out is the variety of activities – there is plenty of entertainment for both children and parents. The kids were constantly engaged with different programs, pools, games, and creative activities. The animators are wonderful – warm, creative, and they dedicate a lot of attention to the little guests, which made the children very happy and always busy. Big thanks for animator Mutluhan. This is a perfect place for a family vacation – fun activities, a friendly atmosphere, and professional staff. We would definitely love to come back!

Paloma Orenda is a great hotel, clean fresh and location is great. You can pick up a bus from outside for €1 which takes you into Side Town Centre so no need for expensive cabs . The staff are lovely, smiley and welcoming and the hotel is self is chic, compact yet has everything you need. The reasons for a 4 star and not 5 star their standard room is small and unless you go as a couple their open bathroom concept gives you zero privacy and for me with a teenage son was def a no go. But Fatma hanim, Gokce Hanim and Omer bey at reception were absolutely amazing and they understood my issue, instead of umming and arring they said they would sort and they did, the very next day. Their family room on tye other hand is spacious, and plenty of room for up to 5 people. The second reason is that all summer hotels (weather was 38c+) in Turkey generally have fridges of water situated everywhere. This hotel did not. So you had to get to the bars or bistro to get water which to be honest was a chore sometimes especially as it was blisteringly hot. Apart from that would recommend this hotel and considering the Paloma Finesse next door next time. Looks lovely too

This hotel is by far the best hotel we have visited to date, and we will definitely be returning in the future! The food was amazing and there was so much variety, we never felt like it got repetitive. The A La Carte options were also delicious and the service was outstanding. The pool area was great and we never struggled to get sunbeds, you can also rent the double sunbeds which we did on one of the days and really enjoyed. The entertainment team was the best team we have come across, they always went above and beyond but were never pushy which we really appreciated. A big shout out to Ishmal who we grew particularly close to and had a good laugh with by the end of our holiday. The beach bar (Quentine), is what makes this hotel stands out from others, whether you’re having lunch there or watching a live band, or just having a drink, it really is such a lovely place to sit especially at sunset. We didn’t leave the hotel once (which is rare for us), because we really didn’t feel like we needed to. Everything had been thought of and we wanted to enjoy all of our time within the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and we already cannot wait to return!!
