Arpaiu

We had to climb a steep hill to the hotel. I was out of breath. I was worried if I was on the right path, so I called, and they kindly explained it to me and sent me an email with the route. After that, they called me to confirm that I had arrived. By the way, you need to let them know the time you will check in in advance. This is because you need a pin number to enter the hotel. We stayed in a family room, but we had to go down two floors of stairs, which was a real ordeal for us with our big carry-on bags. It was also dark and we couldn't see the stairs, so it was very scary. The room was very spacious, and although we couldn't use fire, there was a kitchen. It was made of stone and had a nice design. It was a mystery why there were six bottles of body soap. It was written that there was free mineral water, but there wasn't, so it was a shame. The air conditioning was not very effective and it was cold.

Beautiful place, super quiet and spacious. The view is a dream, the terrace above is incredible and the room exceptional. Tatiana is so nice, she is very accommodating. The place is just wonderful, a little paradise, close to everything. Thank you Tatiana we will come back

Unfortunately, the pictures do not reflect the current state of the cottage shown on the host's website (as well as on other travel portals). It is very likely that a lot of work was put into renovating the cottage several years ago, which is why it is very difficult to understand why the accommodation is so neglected. Furthermore, you will not find any flowers (as shown in the pictures) or anything similar that could contribute to a good feel-good atmosphere. The feel-good atmosphere is created by a very good website, but unfortunately it is at odds with reality. The cottage also does not give the impression that the host cares whether the guest likes it or not. The host is not very interested in the guest anyway and does not even respond to criticism. There is such a high level of maintenance backlog that the accommodation needs a complete renovation and should no longer be rented out. Listing all the damage in detail would go beyond the scope here, so a few examples are listed briefly (see also pictures). - broken windows - broken insect screens - missing curtains - traces of mold - broken lighting - broken canopy, etc. Unfortunately, the garden is a disgrace, the term construction site would be a good description. The sentence "where the garden ends and nature begins" in the description is more than misleading. Since you cannot use the garden in any way, you will not find anywhere outside the cottage to relax and end the day (or to spend it). If you want to spend your vacation without any accidents, it is highly advisable not to enter the garden. Even the "soothing calmness of nature" is difficult to enjoy when the main connecting road (very heavy traffic) of the Cinque Terre runs along in the immediate vicinity. Because, contrary to what is described in the equipment, the windows do not offer any soundproofing. The windows also offer only inadequate protection from rain. They are leaky and, as you can see from the carpet, probably cause regular small floods. The canopy at the entrance to the house is a real source of danger and threatens to fall down even in a light wind. On the front door there are obvious signs that someone has tried to open the door by force. This gives an additional feeling of discomfort and a lack of security in the cottage. Despite all the negative aspects, we found the cleanliness to be positive. The cleaning was carried out to our satisfaction given the level of wear and tear on the cottage. There are also serious doubts as to whether the accommodation (as of 2022) can be given a good rating by anyone who has vacationed here themselves. Unfortunately

Nous avons payé 225€ en nov 21 pour une chambre sans aucun confort. Un lit dur comme du bois, idem pour les oreillers. Une seule lampe de chevet, une lumière qui ne fonctionne pas dans la salle de bains. Le wc qui fuyent ...Aucun confort aucune déco. Aucun accueil non plus. Juste un message et l appartement est très difficile à trouver. petit dej avec supplément de 50€ avons essayé de contacter le propriétaire pour avoir le code wifi ... il n a jamais repondu. Cette location est UNE HONTE ET DU VOL !!!!
