5 Terre Pelagos 2

We enjoyed our stay here immensely from check-in to check-out. Check-in was accompanied by lots of advice and the convenience of buying train passes and resident pass (to walk the via dell’amore). They also called and assisted in making a dinner reservation that helped, no doubt, in securing one of the better seats with a view in the house at a busy restaurant for us. The location was amazing! In the Cinque Terre one can lug their luggage up many flights of cramped stairs, but that is minimized here. One simply gets off the Manarola train, walk thru the tunnel, and turn right twice up a smooth “ramp” surface rather than stairs. The room the was nice with access to a shared balcony space to watch the sunset from.

From the minute I booked our stay until we left, we received exceptional service. Loris and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make our arrival, stay and departure smooth and problems free. Our room has a beautiful view, a fridge and everything we needed for our 2 nights. There is a terrace overlooking the square where we enjoyed breakfast, bought at a nearby deli, and a glass of wine at night. It is just steps from the train station. It is uphill, but if you come to Cinque Terre you need to plan on climbing up hills and steps. I would absolutely return to this hotel!

We loved the property. The cave room was gorgeous and Loris at the front desk was so helpful! Highly recommend this property for its location and its service. The shared deck over the plaza was a surprise and quickly became our afternoon hang out while the crowds were the most dense.

Great stay in Cinque Terra! We really enjoyed our two night stay in Manarola. Boutique hotel an easy five minute walk from the train station. Check-in was quick and easy. Our host secured a reservation for dinner quickly at Trattoria dal Billy featuring fresh fish and a spectacular cliff side view of the sunset. Our large, comfortable, well appointed room had a peekaboo view of the town square and sea. Unexpected bonus was a shared terrace with a spectacular unobstructed sea view. Great place to share a bottle of Prosecco and an afternoon snack. Great value for the money in the Cinque Terra.

The area and view was amazing! It’s very hilly and there are lots of inclines and steps, but it is beautiful!

This only offer rooms no conceirge, no dining area,  bit has hot drinks & kettle in room with snacks. Rooms are clean,large and comfortable.   We had a Queen bed that was quite firm, but not a Slumberland firmness. Had a fridge,  writing table, clothes cupboard and side table and well lit.  All hotel  in Manarola need a walk uphill. 5 Terre is about 250m uphill,  and about 40 steps to the room. We were given a beautiful “Yellow” room with a small balcony. Aircon, safe n power points make this  hotel. Service  Amee?? She met us at the exit of the tunnel from the Manarola train station and escorted us up to the room..our 3 pc of luggage were portered up to the room and we were asked to pay €20 for that service. I think we were overcharged. Briefed us about the use of keys, places to eat, and the boat nhayou need to request for it. Got it the next morning. Strange practice.  A benefit in being a guest of 5 Terre is that they are a leading provider of Boat Tours at Cinque Terre and I was charged €65 for asunset tour, same price for day tour. Instead of about €100 sold om Klook,  which is the going rate for the tour. Sunset tour starts at 6pm report by 530pm  Tour is about 2 ½hr. Overall a very good room and stay. Just need to be aware that there's a lot of climbing uphill, and many steps.
