It was an awesome place to stay

The staff were accommodating and helpful.

1.  We paid extra to check in two hours early, we arrived 2.5 hours early and were not allowed up into the apartment until the exact time, fair, but the guard was a bit sarcastic about it (it was 12:30 and he said, "Is it one O'clock? - knowing full well what the time was), they would not secure our luggage for us, so we were forced to sit there, after an 18-hour flight, but again in all fairness, it was a very comfortable place to sit an wait.  I tried contacting the owner/representative but he did not respond that day (Service = 3). 2.  When we got to the apartment, at exactly 1:00 PM ;-) it had not been cleaned.  I again reached out to the owner by all three methods provided by Trip.com, but did not receive a response that day.  The clearing crew arrived an hour or so later and refused to provide us clean towels and linens and we did not want to be disturbed.  The woman assigned to clean expressed fear for her job if we did to allow her in to clean, so again, we relented to the will of the staff, over the expressed desire of the customer.  Apparently the customer is not always right in the Philippines, and as an American maybe it's just the cultural difference - again, to be fair.  (Service = 3) 3.  The owner/representative ultimately contacted us and without us asking, gave us late check out to compensate for the early check in/apartment not cleaned issue.   4.  Bonus points - there was a clothes washer in the apartment, but no dryer.  Used charging cables to make a clothes line.  5.  There was a pool but we were not allowed to use it before 1:00 PM and we were required to pay a fee as we were considered guests (and we were required to pay the fee at some alternate location).  The sign said the pool was for owners and tenants, I tried explaining that as we were renting the apartment and were therefore we were tenants, to no avail.  We ultimately just gave up.  There were other parts of the property (7th and 8th floors) that were marked closed for renovations.  There were no renovations in progress, I think there were just closed for the staff's convenience (Service = 3) 5.  Overall a Good stay (4) good value - I would consider staying there again, if I could  not find something more interesting to try.
