Casa Raffaele Conforti

Casa Raffaele Conforti ★★★

📍 Via Casa Mannini, 10, Maiori

"We stayed in the structure from August 14th to 17th, a 19th century building that is nothing short of spectacular. There could certainly be a little more care from the owner by doing some small maintenance work in the rooms themselves, such as improving the plumbing a little. The spectacular and unique thing about the structure is the presence of the manager, if you can call him that, a 60-year-old man who does everything from delivering vehicles and luggage to taking care of the guests, preparing spectacular breakfasts and delighting the guests in the morning, even playing the piano. I can assure you that having breakfast listening to Aniello playing the piano with the sea in front and the delicacies that Aniello himself prepares is nothing short of fantastic... In short, the structure would not be the same without the presence of Aniello... Would I return?? Yes, definitely, but the first place in my choice to return would definitely be for the presence of Aniello, attentive with customers and always available to give you some advice that goes beyond the holiday itself, in short, a man from another time that is difficult to meet ... A piece of advice to the owner of the facility, hold on to Aniello who is that something extra that other facilities do not have."

Raggio di Sole

Raggio di Sole ★★★

📍 Via Barche a Vela, 11, Maiori

"It was crazy to enjoy this place! It was all so beautiful, comfortable, clean, hospitality! Cleaning was every day, every day for guests brought home cake that I ate for breakfast and it was very delicious! Everything was necessary as in a 5-star hotel. The balcony was very much liked, and what could be hanged there washed clothes that were very fast dried. The only minus is bad noise isolation, but it didn't stop me"

Minihotel Iris
8.9 (14 reviews)

Minihotel Iris ★★★

📍 Via Chiunzi, 177/BIS, Maiori

"The hotel owner was very helpful and always assisted us whenever we asked for advice. The small hotel provided a peaceful environment, and the beach area was a reasonably short distance away, which could also be reached by a local bus if you didn't feel like walking and admiring the mountain scenery. Parking the car within the fenced area was also a significant advantage."

Hotel San Pietro

Hotel San Pietro ★★★★

📍 Via Nuova Provinciale Chiunzi, 147, Maiori

"Had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Hotel SAN pietro. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. The hotel is spotless. We had a two bedroom. Queen bed in main room with small balcony. Second room had two twin beds. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was included, yogurt, fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, salami, cheese, tea, coffee and juice. About a 8- 10 minute walk From the beach. About a 5 minute walk to the Path of Lemons. Plenty of local restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel."

Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro

Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro ★★★★★

📍 Via G. Capone, 27, Maiori

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day stay here. This is very much family run and the staff were all wonderful. It is not a big hotel so benefits from a degree of intimacy which makes it feel like home. Highlights are the views as the hotel stands proud overlooking the bay at Maiori. Although there is a lift taking guests most of the way up the very steep hill, there are still around 70 steps to the hotel. It is not for the infirm or wheel chair users. The hotel restaurant is stand out good, we enjoyed both a lunch and dinner there. You are also rewarded with fantastic views down the Amalfi coast. Our room was small and could have benefited from more storage. The bathroom was tiny and had a complicated and very small shower. However, we also had an enormous balcony with great views"

"This was the perfect place to stay on the Amalfi coast. Antonio is a perfect host who makes delicious breakfast in the mornings. The rooms are very nice and clean, with air conditioning which is a big win! Maiori is a perfect village, nice and quiet but still easy to access the sites of the coast. I would stay here again without question!"

Hotel Club 2 Torri

"Cleanliness: Good. Environment: Unbeatable sea view. Facilities: The bathroom floor gets quite slippery when wet, so be careful. Service: Service response was a bit slow. Many items on the dinner menu were unavailable, so there wasn't much to choose from. The breakfast selection was also very limited, mostly pastries."

Hotel Pietra di Luna Hotels in Maiori

Hotel Pietra di Luna

"Excellent traditional Italian hotel, where nothing is too much trouble for the staff & cleanliness paramount. Set meal ( with choices) did not detract picky teenage son. Keep in mind wine, water & tourist tax have to be paid at end of holiday so budget accordingly. Excellent position for town & across road from beach. Maiori good base to explore coast although amount of tourists in Amalfi spoil it & prices high. Lemon walk a must although wouldn’t like to attempt in summer. Unfortunately pool wasn’t open when we were there even though weather nice, & lovely sun loungers also couldn’t be used - only gripe is this wasn’t mentioned when booking but this may be fault of our tour operator. Would definitely return to this hotel if coming back to this area."

"We cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful bnb. The terrace overlooking Maiori is such a beautiful oasis to come home to after exploring the Amalfi coast each day. We loved the quieter village of Maiori, but still the lively village atmosphere and such easy access to ferries, buses and taxis to travel the coast and explore. Enzo offers a great driver service too to his guests if you prefer at a competitive price. The restaurants were amazing, the local beach is so long and there are numerous beautiful beach clubs or free beaches to enjoy. We walked the Path of the Lemons from Maiori to Minori which was incredible. We had a sunset cruise from maiori to positano which Enzo booked for us.. But the best part of our stay was getting to know Enzo, his pa Luigi and gorgeous housemaid Shenny. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was delicious, the room sparkling clean and comfy, and their warmth and willingness to assist was unsurpassed. Definitely 10 out of 10."

"We spent a few days on the magnificent Amalfi Coast. We booked this charming bed and breakfast because of the good reviews. The enviable location, the clean, fragrant rooms equipped with every comfort, and the five-star hospitality truly made this vacation unforgettable. We were also delighted to accept the invitation of young Vincenzo, who runs this property with his family, to have breakfast every morning nearby, on a wonderful Vietri-style terrace offering a picture-perfect view. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast filled with homemade delicacies, surrounded by flowers, in the cool of the garden, and immersed in nature (at Montagnella Relax, another bed and breakfast under the same management). We thank Vincenzo and his parents for pampering us and showing such passion for their work. Highly recommended!"

"Very clean, very nice room - exactly as in the photos. The front desk was very helpful and kind. To find the place, they send you a google map. The awning was not there when we went so had to follow the map. It is only one small block off the main beach road so very flat to get there from the ferry port or the bus stop. It is in a very quiet and safe residential area"

"The best choice of stay in Amalfi coast, Maiori and we were glad to be here. Stayed for 4 nights, from start the comms with the hotel was excellent. Had booked paid parking space just outside the property. The had is just off the main road in from of the beach in Maiori with beautiful views of the sea and mountains with lemon gardens in the background from the terrace with similar views from the rooms. The properties set in a residential building typically for Amalfi, occupying 5th floor and the terrace that has breakfast room along with terrace seating. The property is a beautiful BB with traditional decor, very clean and spotless offering basic amenities. The reception staff/manager/owner is a gentleman and offers his assistance at all times with anything to make the stay comfortable. I felt the rooms and bathroom was cleaner than of a 5 star so well done to the family business for the maintenance. The beach is across the road, with many restaurants and Main Street close by with little cafes by the beach along promenade and only 10 mins walking distance from the port and 5 mins walk to the Path of Lemons walk. Highly recommended for the bext service and experience."

Bella Baia Relais Hotels in Maiori

Bella Baia Relais

"An experience not to be repeated unfortunately. The only thing that is truly worth it is the view, the place where the structure is located, wonderful, wonderful to have the Dead Horse Bay just a stone's throw away. Spectacular. For the rest, rather dissatisfied: upon arrival, despite having a freight elevator available, they did not help us carry our luggage to the camping area, we had to go up and down 320 steps 3 times, not that the steps were not declared, but in a structure like this it would be appropriate to provide this service, perhaps even for a fee, to be able to help customers both go up and down with their luggage, while instead this care was taken only during check out, therefore only on the way up. The shared kitchen was a very critical point, practically unusable due to excessive dirt. Obviously, much of the dirt is to be blamed on users who often do not respect this common area enough, but in general a certain basic carelessness is noted. English: For example, in the kitchen there are burnt kitchen utensils, a very dirty refrigerator inside, practically only usable for storing packaged food. A service that is provided in this way is a service that cannot be fully used. In the camping area where you stayed with your own tents there were very nice sunbeds and tables, also unusable because they were dirty and with some rubbish abandoned on them. No employee of the facility ever came to check how the customers left the pitches after checking out, so we stayed for a week with dirt next to our pitch. In the same area at night there were no lights, totally pitch black, we were forced to walk around with a torch to find our tent. The bathrooms are perhaps one of the acceptable things, three working toilets, three sinks of which one was broken, three showers, the internal one with a jet of water that came out normally, the other two a jet of water that came out halfway, nothing unfeasible but a detail that can certainly be improved since they are the only showers available. However, once we left the bathroom, it was as if we hadn't washed, there was no brick/grass/asphalt/gravel on the ground, it was always just dirt everywhere, so we were submerged in dust for a week, perpetually dirty."

"Really nice hotel, spotlessly clean with very helpful and professional staff. Breakfast was excellent with with lots of choice especially if you like cake! The two waiters who look after you were very pleasant and attentive. The room we stayed in was very good (214) , looking over the tennis courts, there was no noise at night. The hotel has secure, reliable WIFI and brilliant air con; however, not many English speaking channels on the TV. The hotel is ideally situated just ten minutes from the sea, restaurants and shops. There is a well stocked supermarket close by. We had an early departure but the hotel provided a packed meal for the journey. There is a nice walk through lemon trees between Maiori and Minori; however, there is lots of steps. If you like home made, delicous Italian food, to eat there, or take away, I would recommend the Maiori Food Coast. In summary an excellent hotel in a very pleasant town on the Almalfi Coast."
