The accommodation impresses with well-equipped tents, comfortable amenities, and a beautiful riverside location. Guests appreciate the varied breakfast and excellent staff service. However, some may find the tents basic.

Surely the strong point of the lodge is its position overlooking the Okavango. In addition we were in the Lion suite which was very nice and big : it had an amazing terrace with 2 floating daybed and a bathtub overlooking the river and the buffalo park. These are the only reasons for rating it "good". A part from that, we found the lodge , especially the common areas , a bit old .and in need of revamping In addition there was not the usual welcoming we found in any other lodges we stayed and the overall atmosphere was quite “cold “. The food was ok but nothing special. Anyway when my husband was not feeling well, they provided us dinner in the room and we appreciated it . We had our own private guide but we took advantage of the boat safari at sun set which was very nice and which we suggest. Anna and Francesco from Italy

We stayed 2 nights at another camp a bit upstream but wished we had chosed Ndhovu for our whole 3 nights in the area. The calm, the common area deck overlooking the tranquil flow of the river and the hippo grunts all along made it a perfect stay. The lovely staff add to the charm

we stayed in July with 4 people (2 adults and 2 young people) in one tent and it was an amazing experience and real near to nature. The sunrise was marvellous, especially with a 2 degrees cold night and "warm" river with hippos on the other side. The tent is simple, but this is what you need here. The food and the service excellent. The location next to the river and far away from any large touristic areas. The view of the bank with hippos, elephants and buffalos. The season was well. No mosquitos and no snakes, but we did sleep with warm clothes on, although the beds were warm enough. The trips very good and Johan explained a lot. We did do the Mahango drive. Johann guided us each evening to the tent in case of any hippos. Unfortunately we did not see during the night, but we think they were there as there was "stumbling noise" near. we would love to go back and enjoy the location and nature.

Ti fanno sentire come a casa tua.
