Maebashi Hotel

室内エアコンがホテル側管理の為暑かったです。

The room was spacious and comfortable. There was no convenience store nearby, so I walked to the station to go shopping.

I've been using this hotel for about 20 years, and this was my first time staying here since the coronavirus outbreak. The aging of the facilities is noticeable. The lounge on the first floor has tables and other items piled up to a dangerous height in the event of an earthquake, and the carpets and walls are covered in stains. The vending machine corner is also closed. The amenities are poor, and the razor was so cheap that I ended up covered in blood. It would be better to stay at another hotel nearby. I think I'll wait a while before revisiting. Good luck.

The room needs some tinkering, but it was a clean and quiet hotel. However, the bathroom ventilation fan in the room I stayed in didn't work. I felt it was inconvenient that I couldn't get air in through the window that didn't open all the way, and that I couldn't adjust the heating or cooling settings myself, except for the strength, but it was a single room, so it might be different from a double or twin room. I still have to go to the front desk every time to get a cotton swab, and although the reservation reply said that check-in time was from 2pm, it was actually from 3pm, so I had to kill time for about an hour, but the front desk's response was normal, and I think it was a reasonable price to stay at.

The lobby had a nice atmosphere, and I had high hopes for the rooms, but they were disappointing. The rooms are old (toilets, baths, etc.) and small. The sink is cracked, and when I took a shower in the bathtub, the drainage was poor and the water from the bathtub pooled up, which was disgusting. The ventilation fan wasn't working either.
