Isolated location, located on a well maintained gravel road, please do not rent this location with the expectation of being able to get to the city in 13 minutes. Also, the house is located in the mountains, steep driveways come along with living in the mountains.
It still has easy access to Hot Springs (23 mins), Marshall (11 mins) & other surrounding cities. Thirty minutes of an easy scenic drive to North Asheville & 37 minutes from Downtown Asheville. Gorgeous view of the Great Smokey Mountains, including Mt Mitchell. The French Broad river is also in view. The house is fully furnished, with a 65" TV, kitchen with all the modern conveniences & more. High ceilings add to the feeling of the wilderness. Partial wrap around deck, gives great access to enjoying the view, while relaxing & enjoying all the modern accommodations. This stay was better than we could have expected. We loved being greeted by a group of turkeys in the drive way as we pulled up. The location was incredibly peaceful away from any neighbors or disturbances. The home was clean, came fully equipped, and included a comfortable fire on the deck that kept us warm while we took in the amazing views. Chris was quick to communicate and made sure we were taken care of. We are already looking forward to our next trip.
