Solunar Maldives ★★
"Decent breakfast. Overpriced"
Kaani Palm Beach ★★★★
"Had a great stay! Our room faced the ocean, with Bikini Beach right below – the photo was taken from our balcony at dusk. Compared to overwater bungalows on resort islands, the beachfront rooms here offer much better value for money. I'd recommend staying in a Kaani seaview room on a local island for your stay. They arranged our excursions perfectly, all departing from the local island. For the resort island part of our trip, we just wanted to relax in an overwater villa with a private pool. The service at Kaani was excellent, though it's a shame they don't have Chinese-speaking staff; communicating via WeChat was still fine. I'm a picky eater, but the breakfast selection was abundant. I didn't get used to the other food, but I was surprised to find Chinese self-heating hotpots on the island and bought a bunch! After staying on a resort island, I really feel Kaani offers incredible value for money."
Arena Beach Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel's beach is the most beautiful on Maafushi Island, and there's also a restaurant. The view from the rooftop pool is fantastic, but it rained during my stay, so my island hopping trip was canceled."
iCom Blue Sea View ★★★
"Break first is good. A egg cooker onsite making. You can eat omelette and scrambled eggs. However, it doesn’t smell well when first come in the room since it’s new building."
KUE Hotel Maafushi ★★★
"We really enjoyed the Kue Hotel. It's a family-run hotel with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay and exploring the island. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our visit. We definitely recommend it. As for improvements, it would be helpful to add a small table on the terrace and a clothesline on the balcony. Also, the breakfast could offer a bit more variety."
Kaani Grand Seaview ★★★★
"This place is an absolute no-go. Putting other issues aside, I was completely covered in bug bites. The unbearable itching and the feeling of my skin crawling were just too much. The mosquitoes downstairs were incredibly aggressive; they even managed to bite me through my sun-protective clothing."
Kaani Beach Hotel ★★★
"It’s a nice hotel in front of beach . Very good for the options available compared to this"
Kuredhi Beach Inn ★★★
"This hotel is right next to the famous Kani Resort in Maafushi, with Bikini Beach just downstairs. I specifically chose a balcony room for the view, but when I opened the balcony door, I realized it was all buildings! There was absolutely no view at all, and I felt like the extra money was completely wasted. If you want a sea view, you should probably choose one of the other two more reputable hotel brands. The decor and facilities are indeed a bit dated. There's no elevator, and the staff needed help with luggage. The room was spacious and well-equipped, but there was no hot water, and the showerhead didn't work. The front desk was often away, making it difficult to find staff. However, they had a good breakfast selection, including freshly made omelets, and you can book ocean excursions through the hotel. The location was also relatively easy to find."
Nala Island Village ★★★
"Good clean, safe budget hotel. Our room had a missing TV which wasn’t a big deal as the internet was good enough to stream. Beds comfortable. Rooms with fan and air con. Fridge and kettle in room, no cups or tea coffee provided but staff happy to give. You can ask for room cleaning and clean towels but this is not done automatically. The only criticism is that the owners arranged to collect us from airport but they never showed up. A very helpful man called him an hour later and he directed us to a public ferry to the island then we walked to hotel- luckily I made screen shots of the direction"

Maamadi Boutique
"Located in front of the harbor, this guesthouse is surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars with good music. The staff is extremely friendly and cheerful! The owner is available to answer any questions you may have. The rooms are clean, and the garden is beautiful! The room with a balcony is best; the others on the ground floor have no windows."
Lagoona Sunset
"This is the furthest hotel from Bikini Beach, but it's about a 5-7 minute walk. The island itself is small, about 1200 meters by 500 meters. There's only one beach (Bikini Beach). The sea is full of dead coral and rocks, so bring slippers. The water is very shallow – up to 1 meter. The island offers many excursions, restaurants with live music, and shops. The hotel staff is very friendly. For breakfast, the hotel brings you your own food (there's no buffet). We initially thought the breakfast was meager, but then we moved to another island where the hotel was twice as expensive, and compared to that, I can say the breakfast here was fantastic."
WhiteShell Island Hotel & Spa
"Everything is fine if you don't stay for long. Very polite staff"
Island Ambience
"Ajay room boy, housekeeping was very nice to us and very kind he cleaned the rooms really good so good that my wife was emberessed by her cleaning. We had water everyday and clean sheets everything he did was really good Please give this man a raise or promotion!"
Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa
"I stayed at the hotel with my husband for three days and was very satisfied. The room was spacious, and the staff were very responsive and always ready to help with any request. We had breakfast included, and honestly, you won't find anything tastier there – the food is pretty much the same everywhere. Generally speaking, the food options are quite limited, unless you're staying at a resort. However, the hotel offers excellent and affordable excursions with great guides. I recommend it."
Triton Beach Hotel & Spa
"So far so good with reasonable room rates"
Crystal Sands
"The property was very nice"
Sunrise Beach
"Amazing stuff the girls in reception are professional the room was clean the food was good and the restaurant stuff were amazing i visited this hotel twice during same year so nice i will come back one day"
Alaika Maafushi
"I watched out for a simple room in Maafushi to start a tour in the early morning at the next day. What I found was a pearl: A nice portier, who helped a lot via Whatsapp and welcomed me in person as well. I received a spotless room and a specious one as well. The bathroom was clean and useful too. So a recommendation for that one 👍🏽"
ICom Marina Sea View
"Overall a good short stay."
