Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants.

Beautiful Manor House!
We loved our stay at Vila Duparchy! We felt like family coming home for a visit, rather than hotel guests! The Manor House garden and grounds were exquisite, and the breakfast was so good!

Hotel sur le declin dommage!! le propriétaire tres agréable fait tout ce quil peut mais une bonne rénovation serait bienvenue. Petit déjeuner correct.

La villa no tiene nada que ver con las imágenes de la web. Está muy deteriorada. El acceso es un camino de tierra, rodeado de maleza y mal iluminado (por la noche volvíamos con la linterna del móvil encendida). En noviembre tenían la calefacción apagada en todo el edificio y, a regañadientes, conseguí que encendiese el radiador de nuestra habitación y sólo cuando volvíamos de cada jornada. No teníamos llave de la entrada, lo que nos obligaba a ponernos de acuerdo con el dueño para que estuviese allí cuando llegábamos. La habitación era muy oscura y sin televisor. El desayuno rico pero repetitivo.

Charming old villa hidden in beautiful gardens. Secluded, but short walking distance to the pleasant town of Luso, close to Bucaco forest and about half hour drive to Coimbra. Wonderful place to stay if you like old world authentic atmosphere. Quiet, serene place to spend the night(s). Comfy beds with a quality bedding, beautiful antique furnishing. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was on the premises. Breakfast was served in the pleasant sun room. Good selection of food and perfect omelette. Great experience!
