The room is a bit empty. There is no place to write in the room. However, there is an open space, so there is no need to make the room so big. The Chinese food is very delicious.

The cleanliness is pretty good, and the new house with the small lawn is quite nice. It's within walking distance of Sewu. There's a pretty good restaurant about 100 meters toward Sewu (p2). The chicken drumstick rice was surprisingly free-range chicken drumsticks, the bones hard and obvious that the chicken was free-range. We ate there three days in a row. (Of course, that's because there's nothing good nearby.) A little way out of Sewu toward the hotel, there's a place selling Indonesian grilled chicken skewers. They're delicious, 10k for five. But it's a bit noisy 😫😫😫 Every morning they have a prayer service at 4:00, then at 6:00, and then, depending on their mood, they'll keep the surround sound going until 11:00. ... . It's really like singing folk songs, echoing in the valley, one after another. The breakfast wasn't great; there wasn't much. The shrimp crackers were a bit like those at Shang Hao Jia. On clear days, you can see Semeru. It's hard to get a taxi nearby. Grab isn't available, and Traveloka is a Malang taxi, so the fare is a bit expensive.

This hotel is a fantastic value for money! The environment is wonderful, and the owner's service is incredibly attentive. It made us feel truly welcome in a foreign country. It's also very close to Sewu Waterfall, and the owner enthusiastically took us there and offered us assistance. Highly recommended.

Despite the modest room, the perfect cleanliness makes up for everything. It is obvious that they tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Very nice hosts, breakfast is small, but everything is very tasty. We ate several portions of nasi goreng and chicken. It is very close to Tumpak Sevu. I recommend it for an overnight stay for sure!

Simple and clean. They serve delicious Chinese stir-fry dishes, perfectly satisfying any Chinese palate. In the morning, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Semeru. It's a two-minute drive from the Semeru Waterfall parking lot, perfect for a quick shower before heading to the next stop.
