Motel 6 Luling, La

This place has sadly gone downhill. The guests staying here have destroyed it, I don’t necessarily blame the workers.

Very polite staff. Very clean. Will be staying regularly for work trips. Better than all the other hotels i have tried.

Pros- cheap and cold AC! Located roughly 30 mins outside of NOLA, so that was convenient! Staff was also friendly at front desk. Cons- Dirty. We found dead bugs on the floor. You get 2 flat pillows per bed, and a minimal amount of towels. House keeping did come in while we were gone and grabbed our dirty towels but didn’t replace them. Also half the outlets didn’t work. We had to unplug lamps to be able to charge phones. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But for the price I paid am I overly disappointed? Not necessarily, you get what you paid for. Just be aware it’s not top tier accommodations.

Beautiful pool, super cold A/C, clean fresh towels and linens, helpful and friendly staff. A on their Pet-Friendly property. I really appreciate the well-cared for landscape and garden.

Not welcoming This motel was relatively clean. Check in was unimpressive. The common area was locked and appeared to be used for storage. The reception was not friendly. The room was decorated nicely but it was damp and uncomfortable. The shower was really nice though. There were some scary people around the area. I would not stay here again.

Nice motel, room was neat but not clean (please check and clean also under nightstands)! Area is a bit noisy, railroadtrack nearby, trains blow the horn muliple times in the night. Service is limited, even no breakfast coffee in the morning. Nevertheless Staff was polite and professional ;-)
