We stayed for 3 nights to visit the wineries of Mendoza. The hotel was perfect. The staff were helpful and engaging. The breakfast was fab and free wine tasting at 6.30! The hotel is small, just 10 rooms, and beautifully decorated with a lovely log fire in the lounge area. Very cosy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. There is a small pool and a hot tub, though it was a little too cold for us to take a dip. The hotel in a a small town called Luyan de Cuyo which was quiet but very pretty. There is a great winery called Pulmery about 0.5km away which I would highly recommend for a tour and a fabulous restaurant called La Gloria which ever recommended and it did not disappoint.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Well decorated. Only very minor issues such as a loose wire in the bedside lamp and difficulty controlling the temperature on night one. An excellent base from which to explore Mendoza .

This hotel was a real gem! The rooms, breakfast and service were all excellent!! We had dinner there as well our first night and it was one of the best dinners we had in Argentina!! We will definitely be back!

We stayed here as a base in Mendoza to take a wine tour of some nearby vineyards and also to visit Mendoza itself. The hotel is in an ideal location, around half an hour from the airport and an easy taxi ride in to Mendoza city. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and suggested places to visit in Mendoza and alternative places to eat in the surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a wine tasting every evening, where you can try some of their own wine and breakfast and dinner - we ate in every night - was excellent and so was the service. Finally the room was large, and had everything we needed in it for our stay, we were overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. This small boutique hotel is superb and when we visit Mendoza again we will definitely stay here.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Chacras de coria. Staff are so welcoming and kind and rooms are lovely. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one night and breakfast each morning was perfect. Recommended activities were good. The hotel is a very short walk into town and only 30mins from the airport in a beautiful suburb.

10/10 experience. The first thing that caught my attention when I entered was the smell, it was amazing. Then the cleanliness. The entire staff was friendly, polite and always willing to help. They provide a paid laundry service, extensive breakfast options ,etc. The dinner menu was great too. The room was beautiful along with a poolside view. I’d return in a heartbeat Ps I’m sorry I don’t have many photos to share

The hotel staff are very welcoming, the rooms large and comfortable and the food amazing. We loved the pool area, and the overall tranquility. the shared spaces were beautifully decorated. Of all the beef we enjoyed in Argentina, the meal of beef we had at the hotel was the best!! The empanadas were also delicious.

What an amazing experience at Lares de Chacras. The perfect jumping off point for a trip to Mendoza. The staff had amazing recomendations for wineries, restaurants and activities and was always willing to help accommodate any questions or requests. The hotel itself is a perfect, cozy retreat nestled in a very centrally located spot! Waking up to breakfast there everyday was such a treat, and the pillows help with a perfects night rest.
