Beautiful, spacious and peaceful boutique hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Restuarant is high quality and gardens a peaceful oasis just 3 minutes walk from the central square with bars and eateries. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the wineries of Mendoza. The hotel was perfect. The staff were helpful and engaging. The breakfast was fab and free wine tasting at 6.30! The hotel is small, just 10 rooms, and beautifully decorated with a lovely log fire in the lounge area. Very cosy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. There is a small pool and a hot tub, though it was a little too cold for us to take a dip. The hotel in a a small town called Luyan de Cuyo which was quiet but very pretty. There is a great winery called Pulmery about 0.5km away which I would highly recommend for a tour and a fabulous restaurant called La Gloria which ever recommended and it did not disappoint.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Well decorated. Only very minor issues such as a loose wire in the bedside lamp and difficulty controlling the temperature on night one. An excellent base from which to explore Mendoza .

This hotel was a real gem! The rooms, breakfast and service were all excellent!! We had dinner there as well our first night and it was one of the best dinners we had in Argentina!! We will definitely be back!

We stayed here as a base in Mendoza to take a wine tour of some nearby vineyards and also to visit Mendoza itself. The hotel is in an ideal location, around half an hour from the airport and an easy taxi ride in to Mendoza city. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and suggested places to visit in Mendoza and alternative places to eat in the surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a wine tasting every evening, where you can try some of their own wine and breakfast and dinner - we ate in every night - was excellent and so was the service. Finally the room was large, and had everything we needed in it for our stay, we were overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. This small boutique hotel is superb and when we visit Mendoza again we will definitely stay here.

Fabulous hotel with absolutely no faults except perhaps for the fact that it certainly isn't in Mendoza. Its about 13km from the city. The welcome from all the staff was outstanding as was the dinner, the breakfast and the rooms. Stayed in 7 hotels in Argentina. This was the best. Make sure you walk around the local area which is fabulous with a good selection of cafes, shops and restaurants. We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday when the local market took place. if only we had had more room in our bags......

Fabulous hotel, small and intimate. Staff, without exception, were friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast and service was very high quality as was the restaurant. Rooms are modern and very clean. 2 small swimming pools and a tiny gym. Location great, near a lovely small suburb of Mendoza. This place is highly recommended, we would very happily stay here again.

The service was impeccable ! The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The food at the restaurant was amazing also . The location was quiet but also within walking distance of many shops and restaurants . I would definitely stay at The Lares again!
