Prima verblijfplaats. Goed ontbijt en goede kamer (tradition). Restaurant heeft ern beperkt keuzemenu. Maar aan de rand van de Dordogne wordt dat ruimschoots door het uitzicht gecompenseerd.

Hotel o mejor llamarla casa de campo rodeada de viñedos. Como su nombre indica, era una antigua capilla. Situación excelente junto al río Dordogne. Infunde una calma increíble, silencio, muy pocas habitaciones, sin coches, al final de un camino asfaltado. Las habitaciones son impecables y limpias, pero sin lujos. No hay nevera ni aire acondicionado ni televisión, pero yo no lo he echado en falta. Desayuno simple y casero. Personal amabilísimo, pero informales (son los dueños). Piscina muy agradable. El restaurante está en el jardín, bajo los árboles y junto al río. Se basa en tostas (salmón, berenjenas, jamón) preparadas con mucha gracia. Se trata de una bodega que elaboran sus propios vinos. Por las tardes invitan a una cata con sus variadas cosechas. A 30 minutos de Burdeos. Muy recomendable.

We stayed for two nights as a family and had a lovely time overall. We booked a suite, which was very spacious, charming, and full of old-world character. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of unique charm. However, one major downside was the lack of air conditioning. I didn’t realize there was no AC until we arrived, which was disappointing—especially during the summer heat. While the listing does mention that there is no TV, it should also clearly state that there is no air conditioning. This was a real inconvenience for us as a family traveling with kids. That said, the stay was still enjoyable, and the property has great potential. We would strongly recommend that the owners consider installing AC or at least being more upfront about its absence in the listing.

Trip without the kids
Excellent room nice shower cosy area to make tea nice setting. Goats nearby very cute. Pool looked inviting. Wine tasting was informative and breakfast was fantastic. Hosts very friendly we bought wine we tried the local honey at breakfast very nice

Good breakfast. Lovely common living room. Bedroom advertised as "romantic", but was fat from it. Rather plain, and no soundproofing. You could hear noise in the living room all the way down the hall. Very overpriced for what you get.
