Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lubbock Southwest, TX

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. We were absolutely appalled by the condition of the room - it never should have been given to a paying customer in the condition that it was in. There was a HUGE stain on the ceiling in the bathroom that looked like water damage and possibly mold. It was centered around the air vent, so every time air blew through it would rain down debris on the back of the toilet. There's no telling what we inhaled while we were in that room! There were also stains on the sheets (gross is an understatement) and bathroom linens, and the floor was not clean. The first night we asked for a new room, and we were told they were completely booked and couldn't move us because they didn't have any empty rooms. So we checked back the next day, and they said hotel policy was that they couldn't move us if we'd already stayed one night in our current room. What?? That's not a thing, and even if it was, they should have told us that the night before and we would have been happy to ask for a refund and move to a new/better hotel. I've never been so disgusted, and the state of the room made us not want to be in it any longer than necessary. We were in town for a funeral, so it was already a hard weekend, but add to that the nastiness of the room and that meant we got no rest while we were there. I expected more from a hotel owned by Radisson - Radisson used to be a name that meant something in the hotel industry, but I guess not anymore. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and we will never stay here again.

The entire 3rd floor had a slight stench of mold. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days according to text but this was not listed in the hotel information when booking.

our room was given to someone else after we checked in. they were sold out and it was handled very poorly!! I wanted to stay only one night instead of 2 and the hotel would not approve it!! Completely ridiculous !! How do you stay in business with such terrible customer service!!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times. This time the room was not clean. We had to wait for it to be cleaned an hour after out check in time Use to be a good stay for the price but we will mot stay here again.

Dirty floors, hair all over the bathroom floor. No toilet tissue. Blood on one of the pillows. Loud stomping noise above my room!

What happened to this property? I was always taught to say something good first, so I will compliment the friendliness of the front desk staff. That is where it stops! Although the room appeared clean, it was not! Both my wife and I were stung by fire ants on multiple nights. In fact they were crawling all over the area around the coffee maker. The carpet has not been thoroughly cleaned in some time. In fact the bottoms of your feet were dirty after walking from the shower. Coffee packets and clean towels had to be retrieved from the front desk, as housekeeping made no appearances in our room. Breakfast food was cold. To top it off, there was a crack pipe in the back parking lot by the curb! We won’t be back!
