Quality Inn Loudon/Concord

This hotel was reasonably priced. Quiet area east of Concord. Rooms are clean, but nothing fancy. Included working TV, small frig, and plenty of hot water. No elevator to second floor. Many restaurants and shopping within a few miles to the SW.

Comfortable , quiet place to stay Ant ( Anthony )is the best CSR there. The breakfast never changes ( scrambled eggs , sausage , white bread , Belgium waffles, chocolate muffins , apples or oranges ….. so we bring what we like to eat ( cheese , English muffins , to make an egg sandwich) fruit, plain yogurt etc ) They are refurbishing all the rooms.

Nice hotel that needs a bit of work done. Was wondering what the mattress and box springs were doing sitting right outside the building?

I have stayed at this hotel several times but this time was not good. I was on the first floor across from the vending and ice machine which meant it was noisy - two nights there were people getting ice until the wee hours of the morning. The neighboring room had their TV on all night - it was right behind the head of my bed and I couldn’t sleep much at all. I did learn to keep the heater fan running constantly which helped for both noises. Light outside shined directly onto my window. Even with the curtains shut it was too bright. This room was very dirty. Looks like blood on the door jamb of the bathroom and the baseboard was disgustingly dirty. Bathroom floor was washed with a dirty mop. (See pictures). Suspect each room could use a top to bottom cleaning. Bathtub is not spacious as advertised but the shower head, water pressure and hot water was A-one. Not enough bedding. The bed spread is a satiny material which doesn’t stay on the bed and the sheet and duvet give minimal warmth. Breakfast is not only blah but cold. This has been the case with my previous visits as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I also didn’t ask for much. I stayed 5 nights and ran out of basics like Kleenex. I asked them only once to come in and freshen up and leave supplies. They left coffee (not enough for someone staying another 3 nights) and Kleenex and emptied the trash and replenished towels. No extra toilet paper. I think they also changed the sheets and did a quick wipe down of the bathroom - I didn’t need either but appreciated the effort. They always have people there who look like they are being temporarily housed during a period of homelessness. Which is fine - I just wish they wouldn’t stare at me and make me feel uncomfortable. One stay the police had to be called because of an altercation between mother and teen daughter over a cell phone. STILL - the price is good, the location for me is excellent, and the staff are nice. I would suggest staying on the 2nd floor (no elevator) and don’t bother with the breakfast. Bring some muffins from a local bakery. I will stay there again because of the low price and convenient location for me. And the staff really is nice.

I like that it’s small and inviting. It feels like a B B and I like that. The people are very nice.
