Property Description
Location! location! On the side entry road for easy access and parking. On the community pool for fun and sun. Around the corner from the Inn for amenties such as two pools, two restaurants, beach access and a gym. Half a block to the local store for last minute groceries. Two minute walk to the community center and security office (open 24/7). Three minute walk to the golf course. Our Casa is wonderful and welcoming, casual and comfortable, authentic and affordable. Just to describe it a bit – enter into the indoor patio with garden and fountain - from there you open French doors into the living area with two leather couches, an entertainment center, dining for six and a fully equipped kitchen - this opens to the outdoor patio with fountain, garden and a seating area for outdoor relaxing or eating – from there you walk out to the community pool/Jacuzzi – also, on the first floor is a bedroom with a queen bed and TV, and separate bathroom with its own step in shower - going back to the entry you go up the stairs to the very private second floor - this roof top terrace has a covered pergola with a barbeque and eating area – the French doors open into the master bedroom with a king bed, TV and bathroom with a large soaking tub, Mexican tiled dual sink vanity and step in shower – the spiral staircase leads to the viewing tower with a view of the Sea of Cortes and the Sierra de La Gigante Mountains range. Loreto, Mexico, is a quaint historic fishing community on the eastern coast of Baja California Sur, along three miles of pristine Baja beach front. Loreto Bay, five miles south of town and three miles from the airport, is home to hundreds of species of tropical sea life, with several species of whale. Jacques Cousteau referred to it as the aquarium of the world. Activities are endless – take a short Ponga boat ride to visit the Isle Coronado, with it's pristine water, and white sandy beaches or Isle Carmen, known for it's abundant sea life – go sport fishing with one of the locals for Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Dorado, and Yellow-Fin – during spawning season you may see the whales – if fishing is not your thing, then you can always snorkel, kayak, or enjoy shelling – golf on the championship course or play a little tennis – visit town with its cobbled streets, historic Mission, funky shops and great affordable dining - or my favorite, enjoy a walk through the charming neighborhoods where each villa and garden is unique. This place is beautiful, worked perfect for us, since we had a family road trip from San Diego, CA and had our truck. I cannot see my self there without a car Beautiful property, super easy check in, perfect by the pool. We will come back !!

Great for families with kids Very nice apartment, steps to the pool. Very walkable area too. Nopolo is like a little gringo oasis and feels like you could be anywhere but it’s very tastefully done with all the pedestrian alegs and landscaping. Perfect for a 2 night stay at the end of our trip.

BE ADVISED. First of all, The property is about 20 minutes away from Loreto. Orbitz, incorrectly shows this property to be located in downtown Loteto, it is not. Besides that, If you’re looking for REAL Mexico, this place is not it. It IS a beautiful, safe and clean place, but it is just a huge American development, exactly like any other culture-appropriated development in the states. Anybody wanting to experience real Mexico, local food, fishing, etc this place is not for you. IF you are looking for an eerie quiet, sanitized clean, fake mexico, ultra manicured place with absolutely nothing to do… then this is exactly it. The host took a while to respond to my messages, no real time communication, at all. The place looked like it hasn’t been occupied in months. The AC in the master did not work, to what the owner said, “it worked before” We were given an access code and pretty much left to figure everything out… We ended up staying only one night out of the four I paid for. We moved to downtown Loreto to a great little hotel half a block from the Mission and a block from the beach. It was awesome. That one night ended up costing me over $600, but he was worth it to get out of there and go stay in ACTUAL Loreto… I will not be coming back to this place.

April Stay As advertised. As mentioned in other reviews, the condo is on the main road into the property so can be abit noisy which is only really bothersome in the AM. Also bring ear plugs and eye patch for sleeping as the birds start around 6AM and there are no black out blinds in the Master bedroom (even normal blinds would reduce the sun first thing in the AM). Lacking BBQ utensils, but enough other kitchen items to make do. Dishwasher needs to be addressed as we had to check / clean again most items after each wash. Fountain wasnt working and wasnt fixed during the week, disappointing as a nice feature. Those are just the "being honest with feedback" items. We enjoyed the unique layout and proximity to major amenities. Hardly used the AC as comfortable to sleep at night and open doors worked during day. We would consider staying here again. Thanks
