Longboat Key Beach Club & Resort is a slice of paradise. The beach is absolutely stunning—powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and breathtaking sunsets that feel like something out of a movie. It’s peaceful, clean, and the perfect place to truly relax and unwind. What really made our stay unforgettable, though, were the incredible bartenders, Kristen and Zachary. They are the heart and soul of the resort’s hospitality—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Kristen has the best recommendations and always remembers your drink with a smile, and Zachary brings such great energy and conversation to the bar. They make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. We can’t wait to come back. Between the unbeatable beach and the amazing service from people like Kristen and Zachary, this place is a true gem.

The service was excellent. The people that work here are extremely friendly and helpful. They also stay in communications with you through text if you need anything and they get it immediately. A really great place to stay.

I have taken my family here for over 15 years and it never disappoints. The beach is beautiful and the resort is also beautiful. St. Armand circle is a wonderful hub of shopping and restaurants. After the last hurricane the people of Long Boat Key rebuilt and are open for business! Wonderful people !

I left a drawer full of clothes and shoes, and the Housekeeper kept it. I worked with the Security team, but they could not find my property and suggested that I call the Sarasota police department and file a report. I called the Property manager named Burt and left two voice messages. He did not return my call. I left another message for his boss Dianne, and she didn't return my call either. Very Unprofessional management team. Following up with Ocean Properties LTD now.

God has truly given my husband Brian and I the gift of staying here several times. Every single time we are so grateful for the amazing staff! I wanted to switch rooms to get our usual rm. Yadier and the woman also at the front desk(I didn’t get her name),she actually took us up-)were SO accommodating! Kassie the waitress(the ENTIRE waitstaff as well as each and every worker on the beach) completely made our stay amazing. We rested in a perfect cabana.(Those guys are hard workers!) It healed me just like the last time. God healed my brokenness by being there! Thank you. (Barb)

Sam, our pool and beach attendant was soooo accommodating! Was here a week and graciously helped with our umbrellas, chairs and extra towels. Just ask for Sam! The steaks at Latitude restaurant are fantastic! The guest rooms very clean and spacious!

I'm surprised how favorable the ratings are. Razor thin walls, militant check out reminders by 11am. Buildings remind me of resorts you see in Cancun or DR. What am I missing? Pool area small. Back to rooms, walls were really slim and we could hear every conversation. I travel a lot and this place has a great location but other than that?

My husband booked our anniversary getaway at this location Oct. 22nd; it is a beautiful property with an amazing spa facility. The problem was being in an awesome room awakened at 7ish in the morning, by construction workers repair the roof overhead; why would the resort not inform us of this activity at or prior to check-in? Highly disappointed that we were not given a CHOICE of another room, since we couldn't enjoy the balcony for the noise of hammering. Then at check-out we were blocked in the parking lot by the landscaping crew and equipment - awful experience.

Our experience at LKC was significantly diminished by the resort’s lack of attention to guest experience. Rather than a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, constant mechanical noise disrupted what should have been tranquil moments. For example, on the morning of Tuesday, March 25, while enjoying coffee on our gulf facing balcony at 9 AM, the serenity was abruptly shattered by a maintenance worker using a gas-powered backpack leaf blower. The loud revving continued for 3 hrs as he blew leaves around the building and parking lot between buildings 1 and 2. This lack of consideration wasn’t an isolated incident—throughout our six-night stay, a Kubota side-by-side frequently roamed the beach lounging area, weaving around children and beachgoers, as staff unnecessarily picked up small loads of towels. While I fully appreciate the need for maintenance and upkeep, other resorts of this caliber handle such tasks more discreetly, ensuring guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Overall, the lack of thoughtful planning from both maintenance staff and resort leadership resulted in a disappointing experience.
