the best beach vacation. st regis is warm elegance with great service. Darin and the beach guys were fabulous. valet were quick. love the special lagoon snorkel experience, tortoise feeding , and pilates. food is fabulous. aura for lunch. riva buffet breakfast. rib eye , caesar salad and the best dessert apple dumpling at the CW steakhouse. carolina’s coffee and amazing pastries. turndown service. comfy rooms. perfection!

St Regis Resort in Longboat Key provided the perfect escape from the Midwest cold winter. We have been to many of the top Marriott properties both for pleasure and business, and I would rate this the finest Marriott property in the US. I hate to admit it was even nicer than the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua which I didn’t think was possible. The interior design was grand through including our spacious suite. The massive outdoor area with multiple pools, whirlpool, and lazy river provided comfort and privacy. The food and service were top notch including the Riva for breakfast and great Italian dinner, and the Monkey Bar on the beach was a great place to hang out. What separated this hotel from other Marriott experiences was the level of personal service. Special shout out to Darren, a Food and Beverage Manager who made us feel so welcome from our first breakfast to our last lunch on the Beach. Our Server for Breakfast, Andrea, also provided such great personal touch. The bar area with the player piano, and a live musician at night was a great place to cap off the evening. The Spa experience exceeded our expectations and was a great way to spend half a day. The lagoon with many species of fish was a cool and unique touch. What a great way to spend your Marriott points for a luxurious experience.

Darren is the man!! He took care of us at Monkey Bar at sunset with Big Mike. This place is unreal! Please check it out. You will not be disappointed. My wife and stopped in for an afternoon and ended up having the best time! Check it out and ask for Darren!

The staff was very kind and eager to help from the valet room, service bartenders, etc. the weather was cold, but had heaters to help.

The St. Regis Longboat Key is truly a gem and a fantastic addition to the area! While it’s natural for any new property to face initial challenges, the management and leadership at this hotel are wholly committed to delivering the world-class service that defines the St. Regis brand—and it shows! From the moment you step into the vibrant lobby, you’re greeted with an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The St. Regis Bar is the centerpiece, where music fills the air and best-in-class service surrounds you. The beach is one of the most stunning we’ve visited, and the sunsets are breathtaking—enjoyed perfectly with a drink in hand at the Monkey Bar or Aura. The menus at both venues were thoughtfully curated, and the ambiance provided the perfect setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Longboat Key. Dining at Riva was another highlight of our stay. Breakfasts were incredible (I couldn’t resist having the frittata each morning), and the dinner experience at the pasta bar was not only delicious but also wonderfully engaging, as we enjoyed lively conversation with the staff. Although the hotel was at full capacity during our stay, you’d never know it! The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Curtis greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel at home. He guided us to reception, where we were warmly welcomed by Candice Torchia, the Director of Front Office. We had the pleasure of meeting Candice last year at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, where her exceptional service stood out—and she continues to exceed expectations here. From check-in onward, every need was anticipated, whether it was room service, beach or pool service, dining suggestions, or simply navigating the stunning property (which even features an on site under the sea lagoon and mascot turtles!). Our ocean-view room was exquisite, with jaw-dropping views that made it hard to leave. We stayed for two nights before moving into our condo on Lido Beach and already can’t wait to return. We’re looking forward to dining at Oshen and C.W. Prime in the next month before we leave! The St. Regis Longboat Key delivers a special experience that is a testament to the commitment and passion of the entire team. Every person we encountered exemplified the St. Regis standard of hospitality, and we’re thrilled to have this beautiful property nearby. Highly recommend for anyone looking for luxury, service, and unforgettable memories!

What an amazing getaway not far from home! My wife and I decided to spend our mini moon here during Veterans Day weekend in November 2024. We are huge fans of the St. Regis, since we experienced two hotels on our engagement-moon in Italy, Venice and Florence. This property is new and it had everything we were looking for and more. They have a grand entrance with welcoming staff. Michael, the head bellman, gave us a warm welcome and informed us of the sea turtle fountain covered in Swarovski crystals centerpiece out front. We later met Jack and Rose, the tortoises on property. Jason checked us in. He was extremely kind and patient. He took the time to answer our questions. And as foodies, we truly appreciated his recommendation of the Chicken Milanese at Riva. It was one of our favorite dishes on property. He was also kind enough to put us in one of their best rooms included in the complimentary upgrades for Platinum Elite Marriott members. Our room was located on their top floor at the end of the hall, with a stunning view of their pools, lagoon and private beach. It was perfect for us. The bathroom was covered in marble and it had double sinks! It was a sizable space with a large rainfall shower and a bathtub. The bed faced the balcony glass sliding doors so we could wake up every morning to the sunrise and picturesque views. The walk-in closet was also very nice with a full length large mirror. Breakfast was what we looked forward to most during our stay. The food and drinks were excellent. Also, the lagoon experience on property sets this place apart from other resorts. It was a very unique experience and the staff were super friendly. The Asian girl was super kind, friendly, patient, welcoming and had great energy. (Sorry it’s bothering me that I cannot remember her name!) We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the jellyfish and interacting with all the fish. Alvin really liked me, as he kept coming up to me throughout my time in the lagoon. Another highlight of our trip was during dinner on the beach our first night, we saw dolphins in the sunset. We’ve been to Florida so many times, but have never seen wild dolphins. It was super cool! Darren took great care of us by the pool and beach with food and drink orders. Great guy and it was a pleasure getting to know him. Shoutouts to Elson, Faith, Michaels, Joe, Darren, Rajan, and Timothy. They all made our stay on property an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back!
