I found I couldn't check out at desk to get my receipt for my room.They said to do it online,but my hotel in Derry was not listed,therefore I couldn't check out..this was disappointing.. So I didn't get any bill/receipt..

Great hotel right in the heart of the old city walls. Very friendly staff. The free parking was a real bonus too.

First time we have stayed at the Maldron hotel in Derry very nice hotel and staff go the extra mile to help especially Shannon on reception she is a credit to the hotel

During my stay, I noticed several issues that impacted my comfort. The carpet in the room was lumpy and coming up off the floor. The “view” looked out onto other rooms and a low rooftop covered in green sludge. Additionally, the walls were very thin, and I could clearly hear the guest in the adjacent room coughing throughout the night. A room in this condition should not be priced the same as the other rooms in the hotel.

got married in Spain but had our home reception here and stayed in the Eleanor suite…lovely big room, Ashleen looked after us brilliantly but all staff working that night were brilliant and were very friendly. Our guests that stayed all said the same. Gorgeous breakfast the next morning. Fully recommend and will stay again.

Had the most wonderful stay at the Maldron Hotel - Derry, last weekend. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, so cosy & contemporary ... and completely spotless. Got a warm welcome from the lovely Manager, Lynn. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful also. Food was delicious - had dinner and prosecco on arrival, then a lovely breakfast the next morning - superb! Room was lovely, bed was so comfortable. Location was great. Honestly couldn't fault anything about this hotel, ticked all my boxes and can't wait to return!
